Cannot start WoW in 32-bit even when using launcher

As the title suggests, I purchased a 2 or 3 day trial subscription, and I cannot use it because WoW will not open in 32-bit format. This means auto-buddy will not attach to the game. Is there another way to open WoW in 32-bit format?

When I open WoW it does not have the "x64" or "x86" text, it just says "release" without any numbers following.

I am playing on a private server. "Nostalrius" It is like the original WoW before any expansions. Will that be a problem? aHow can I update the client for this version of WoW?
