Cannot start bot

I've followed the quick start guide, and i've also done the windows explorer unblock for the zip file, and I am still having this issue.

after i have ran the game as admin, logged into my character, and then ran ryftomate as admin, logged in with my key, and selected my character and pressed "attach", i get the error, cannot start bot. i added the [email protected] to my msn, to see if i can get live support, but no response there yet, so i'll try here. any ideas? i purchased a 1 day key, to try it out, and havnt been able to even get it to run yet.... kinda dissapointing.

tried to restart bot Ryftomate and Rift?

and tried to intall the Microsoft files?

i am online btw

Did you install NetFramework 4.0, and the two Microsoft C++ packages? If not, links are in this getting started guide: http://www.ryftomate.com/general/59-[guide]simple-steps-quick-ryftomate-setup.html

This seems to be the most common issue that causes the "Could not start bot" error.

yes, i've tried restarting rift, and ryftomate, as well as restarted my computer several times

says ur offline, but those files fixed it. just an idea, cause i didnt see those in the guide, perhaps that step should be first, because i was just going step by step and stopped reading it once i got the error, as those links are kinda in the middle and hidden in the guide
