Cannot purchase Gatherbuddy

Hi

I'm trying to purchase a lifetime copy of GB/HB using PayPal. When I login to PayPal, I'm told I cannot use the method Credit Card to pay via PayPal. Why? Has anyone else had this problem?

Can I not pay directly with credit card not via PayPal?

Try paying via PayPal but without logging in,if that fails you might have to use MoneyBookers instead.

I've used credit cards on Paypal. You sure you're not using a credit card and selecting debit card or visa versa?

I've never had a problem with PayPal. I usually just login and press Pay Now on the next screen. I cannot pay without logging in as I get a message similar to "this card is attached to a PayPal account. Please log in to the account and try again."

The error I get is:

You cannot use this credit card for this transaction. Please use another funding source.

* You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and Direct Debit has been set up, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.

I saw that and thought it was specific to my card, but upon pressing cancel I saw:

Some payment methods are not available for this transaction.

• Credit Card - This payment cannot be funded with a credit card.

I've just realised it may be because I'm trying to pay at work and we use a netherlands proxy I'll try at home later.

I just tested it with a CC and it worked, so you may be right.
