Cannot figure anything out

I am new to this. I am trying to read these guides and walkthroughs. I just simply cannot figure most of this stuff out. I am usually a quick learner but this bot is losing me. Maybe it is because I was so use to Pirox. I am liking this bot a lot better when I can get something to work how i want it lol. I do not understand SVN. I have tried Kicks walkthroughs and it just downloads a bunch of crap than I am lost again. I simply just want to level and farm ore/herbs. I feel like an idiot. If someone can take me under their wing and help me out through this or personal message I will rep the crap out of them. Thank you in advance and please try and keep the crap talk to a minimum =)

Ok to be serious:

You made an svn checkout like kicks guide said right? You now have a folder with tons of files right?
You click on the 1-85 Questing folder, then the sub folder which fits your needs.
If you started hb, you will see a small dropdown menu in the upper right corner, select Questing.
Then click load profile, go to the questing folder you just made and load.
Now you move your char where the profile starts.
Now you press start and watch the magic?

Inside the Folder you downloaded are two plugins you need to copy over to your plugin folder, ItemforAura and if you lvl in Outland as Horde, Azenius.

For Gathering, you search a profile on the forum, download it, select Gatherbuddy2 in the dropdown, go where the profile starts and press start.

Sounds like a walk in the park for me compared to pirox...

Sweet. So I was downloading from the wrong link. After reading what you put here I reread a couple other things and they all made sense this time. Thank you very much! Now that I have done this. Can I use these quest profiles at level 85?
 
Sure, just read the starting post of the questing profiles, you will see there is an option to do the profile from the beginning or appropriate to your characters level.

In your case the just downloaded version of the profiles should do everything from the start.
