can you open multiple clients?

like the title says can yu open multiple d3 clients? and how? also i would imagine yu would have to have 2 different d3 accounts to login....

cuz id like to plvl another character while i bot.

You simply make a duplicate program files/diabloIII folder, create a shortcut from both folders, and in properties add -launch to the end of the target command. Like so: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III - Copy (2)\Diablo III.exe" -launch. You can do this as many times as you need for as many clients as you need to launch.

It takes me years to open the new diablo client and loading a game takes me 2 mins. What did I do wrong? I did all the steps above.

Double check your shortcuts? Make sure u they are launching D3 from the different folders that u created.

Did you make sure to COPY diablo 3 (the whole folder) and paste it in a different spot/locations on the harddrive. The shortcut to both and run it. If its ran from the same one it lags and such.
