Can you get a delayed ban?

Hello all,

I'd just like to ask some experienced botters/script writers:
Is it possible to get a delayed ban in AA?
For example, use quester from levels 1-50, and then play legit from then on, but get banned after a month or two?

I'm asking because I'd like to know if i bot to a certain point without being banned, and stop betting after that, will the account be safe afterward, or could it still get banned randomly after a period of time?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
Has anyone batted their main just for leveling up to 50, and then stopped afterward, and still have their main intact and safe a long time later?

Not sure but I do got the feeling I've gotten a delayed ban before. For example, I was on one of my bots that was leveling and he was leveling just fine. As soon as I had to turn off that bot to load up another account on archebuddy he got banned. So basically, he didn't get banned until AFTER I logged him off.

No GM detected it was prob just a tripwire or something. But still unusual regardless.

yeah thanks for the reply enkae! i've also gotten this type of ban before. Like if it gets flagged, the account will be banned shortly afterward even if logged off.

What i was trying to figure out is, whether it's possible to get a ban months after you stop botting, like long-term delay. Or will you only get banned shortly within the timeframe that you got caught/flagged?

Not sure machan. I never had an account that was banned months after being "flagged"

The only accounts I had that lasted months I never got banned and even if I do get banned after months I have no proof it was flagged months prior to that.

sorry i'm a bit confused, you said yes you can get a delayed ban, and then said it will stay clear if you stay clear after it.
what do you mean by that?

so are you saying that if you have never been reported + banned, and you stop botting the account afterwards, you will be fine?
or are you saying that you can still be banned a long time after you stop botting?

I would assume if you were not reported or flagged and it has been months since you used it you may be clear. I also doubt they would keep records for to long either but there is no real way to tell for sure unless you work for them and know how they do things.
