Ok, I have a question, perhaps somebody knows. If I have 2 copies of WoW running simultaneously, and one of them is desposible botted account attached to it (which I am sure sooner or later will get flagged), while the other one is my clean 5-years old account, in which I play manually, can the clean account to which HB is not attached get banned as well? Have there been cases ob Blizzard banning accounts just because they have been played from same PC with same IP and MAC address? Or only the account attached to HB can be banned?

Sure, in the recent "ban_all_devs_making_profiles" banhammer *****down that Blizzard did against Botantist, fpsware and others they got hit on both botted and non-botted accounts, so I would say Yes to that one.

If your botting account is also in your name then YES both accounts could be considered to be banned. Blizz does not see it possible for you to be playing both accounts at the same time.

I recently bought two accounts from someone, both botting accounts and both in that persons name. I ran them both at the same time and both accounts were banned.

SO as long as your botting account is not the same as your main, you should be fine... I play my main account and run a bot on a different account at the same time a bunch and have never received even a warning on my main.

Best of luck, hope this helped.

Thank you. No, the clean account is my account registered on my main. It's 5 years old and has no bad history whatsoever. The botting account is registered under different name and it's not attached to my original, clean battle.net account.
So it's safe to run two unrelated accounts from the same PC? One of which would be my own old account with a long payment history, and another one registered to different battle.net account, controlled by bot, but still played in the same PC as the first one? Because that clean account I really don't wanna loose, hence I do not bot it. :)

you dont want to run an account that you do not want banned on the same pc as a botting account. blizzard scans the RAM of your PC and looks for a program consistently running with your world of warcraft to insure you are botting. So no matter how the accounts are associated they both are subject to ban. I can confirm this as i once botted my account and periodically used my friends account on the same comp and they both were flagged for password reset at the same time due to "irregular hours" of play. If you honestly care about an account i would run it on a seperate IP from a botted account.
