I want to run atleast 10 bots.
Is this computer able to do it?

Yes shouldn't be a problem, but you don't have a video card. wow requires ram and cpu more than graphics.
edit: but you'll still need a video card ;)

you don't need a graphics card, harddisk, a power supply?

i5-3570k has Intel 4000 Graphics so that is enough. I'm with a X1550 and I can run 3 with no problem, Intel 4000 Graphics is a lot better than the GPU I have at the moment, so don't worry about it.
I have 2 HDD's, but I'm thinking in buying a SSD.
I have a new PSU 550W.

Yes. With i5-3570k u can run 15-20 bots

That's fucking cool.

I dont want to be rude, but it looks like there are quiete a few tech savvy ppl whom maybe can help about my issue: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...-help-current-botting-system-performance.html
With i5-3570k if he would be able to run 15-20 bots, why with my setup (i7) i cant run more than 12 bots? or why it eats my cpu so hard

At the moment, I'm with 3 WoW's running with 3 HB's, and I have a Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz with 4GB RAM, and I still can open atleast one more WoW and one more HB.
So I think you are probably doing something wrong.
You could probably do 4 times what I'm doing.

Yes i think so. I must be doing something wrong. But cant figure it out. I need help with it.

WoW and HB are more memory intensive most of all, so you might want to just go on with 32gb of ram. That way you have space for more if you ever need more bots.

i have GeForce GTX 690 | GeForce (GTX 690)
running 6 bots atm. rams and cpu good but need to improve my graphic card via crossfire...
you need 1st graphic card as u see
He's using the graphics from his CPU which should be fine just turn down the graphics.
How much ram do you have?
Also is your graphics turned down all the way for wow?
I'm pretty sure you could run then 6 if you wanted.

I will run every WoW with low settings, I don't care about graphics if the bots are playing.
I was thinking in 16GB to start, and I'm running 3 WoW's with RAM for one more with a Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz with 4GB RAM, so I think 6 bots with an i5-3570k and 16GB RAM are not that much.

Personally I don't think it will comfortably do this, my recommendation is a higher CPU (i7) and more RAM.

EDIT: I have an i7 950, 12Gb RAM and if I try to run more than 8 sessions at a time things become very slow. you have to keep in mind that with the release of MoP the games minimum requirements have increased.

Well I don't have the money to buy i7's and there are people running with i5's from what I've read.
Also, with my current Q6600, I can run probably 4 or 5 bots, how come an i5 can't do more than 10?
Also, it could be a RAM problem, you only have 12GB RAM, WoW and HB use more RAM than CPU.

I don't think its your CPU, you might want to upgrade your ram. Warcraft really isn't CPU intensive as it is GPU & RAM.
Right now I have one session with ultra settings with things running in the background but CPU is at 1-10% it just keeps bouncing around.
If you upgraded your RAM i'm sure you would be able to run more then 10 easily with an i7 950.

You'll be fine with an i5, RAM is the key to botting. Like I stated before, warcraft really isn't CPU intensive but more memory intensive.

Yeah, at the moment CPU is at between 30% and 50% with 3 bots and chrome, RAM is at 75%, so yeah.
May I ask you what is your setup and how many bots do you run?

CPU - 1100T OC'ed to 4Ghz
GPU - AMD 6950
RAM - 8gb 2000mhz
I just started botting on friday and it's 64 already with 10 hours a day.
Planning on buying a couple of accounts later on.
1/2 of my ram is being used because i have a ton of things running, chrome takes up a lot of ram too!

Not trying to get too far detracted from the original posters question; I currently have 6 sessions running (all using the lowest possible settings) and my CPU is sitting at 96-98% usage (all 6 cores) and RAM usage is sitting at 8.17Gb (out of 12Gb).

Once again I reiterate my point, a higher CPU is strongly recommended.
