Can HB & GB be used on a 3.3.5a private server?

My plan is to try botting on a private server first. Mr. AutoFight looks particularly interesting to me since I want to play, but really don't care for the fast twitch button mashing. I'd like to work up to running 5 at once

Will I have to use older versions of HB and GB to play on a 3.3.5a server? How about the profiles and CCs?

doubtful if it would work as those older versions of HB/GB don't work / ie they have to communicate with servers to get authentication.
