I have this same issue on my laptop. I think i have narrowed it down to the speed and how full the hard drive is. I have updated all drivers re formated the whole 9 yards so i believe it to be the read / write time and speed of the hard drive.
 
Sounds like a hdd problem your system specs are much better than mine however my pc is well maintaned try downloading a hdd defrager also update your drivers to the latest version if your still having problems delete your wtf fiolder in your wow directory [you will have to rearrange your addons] and also the cache folder
 
Just delete wtf file deleted all add on's and put 4 back in, allbags, omen, sell junk, recount I believe. i shall let ya know what happens when I ding.
 
what is the difference between hdd defrag and my defragmenting program on my windows xp, which I use often?

Looks like Hdd Defrag is a clutter maker on a comp... dont know though... Need info....

its most likely a driver issue what gpu are you using?
 
I have I decent paid for regularly updated Virus protective program.
 
gpu? dont know... what is that? whatever cd came with the motherboard is what im using... lol

The prize goes to the wtf delete and add on's issue... I no longer lagg when I ding!!!! good shit... well now I have every program on this side of the deathstar ... Game booster, defraged hard drives, wtf files deleted... talk to me people... how can lambo help you with your hickups on your comp??? lol... nice work folks... good people, good comunity... keep on botting illegally.
