Buying "spare" accounts

I was hoping someone with more exp could help me out with this. If I say buy 5 extra wow accounts, how long do I have to activate them? or do they become active as soon as I buy them?
 
Usually those have Serialnumbers and start, wenn the Number is activated.
 
Not active until you use the serial numbers - just store the numbers until you are ready to play and you are fine.
 
When you buy via the Blizz Store for your own account they will be active immediately.
You can however send as a gift (even to yourself) and you'll get a code sent that will not be active until you redeem it and it will last indefinitely.
I was sitting on some Cata Battlechests for a couple of years and when I finally redeemed in WoD the codes they even included the MoP xpac although RAF'ing with them the RAF stopped working at 85.

Because blizzard got so criticized of having too many fkn xpacs you had to buy they now bundle everything except the newest with BattleChest. So 3-4 months after Legion is released the battlechests will bundle WoD.
 
Gift it to yourself and you will get the serial numbers in the email you put as the recepient. Can use whenever you choose. I have done it plenty.
 
nope im in australia, click the link at the front of battlenet selecting the wow you want then it takes you to shop where you select gift option.
