Buying/Selling gold via AH

Hi all,

Just a quick one... just wondering how safe (or not) it is to buy/sell gold via AH sales. Eg put up some random item on the AH for 100k gold. Assuming you are fine with the 5% loss via AH commission...
Is it as safe as going via guild bank or face to face?
