This isn't exactly going to be used as my main botting computer, I have a decent custom built desktop for that, but I plan on botting on my laptop while I'm at work so I can be able to monitor it better. I won't be trying to run more than 3 bots on this laptop. I don't really plan on manual gaming that much on this laptop (I only game on desktop really) but would like the option to be able to on medium settings. This is more going to be used as an every day computer with the option to bot on it.

Comp I've been looking at is Hp ENVY dv6t-7200 Quad Edition which has the following specs:

3rd generation Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor (2.4GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
750GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive

***Graphics card options***
+$0 Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
+$50 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 630M Graphics with 1GB of dedicated video memory
+$75 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 630M Graphics with 2GB of dedicated video memory
+$150 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with 2GB GDDR 5 video memory

My biggest question really is what graphics card do I really need? Can I get away with the intel HD 4000 considering I will be getting an i7 with 8GB ram and 750GB Hard Drive or is the NVIDIA a must.

Price is a factor, def don't want to spend over $999. Also if I can use the Intel hd 4000 I don't have to custom order the computer and can buy it locally which saves a lot of money.

Open to what other laptops you guys use as well, thanks.

You will need one of the above to play/bot HD Graphics 4000 is not a dedicatd graphic card

Even on low settings? I figured since it would be on 3rd gen i7 8GB ram (can upgrade to 16 after market since its cheaper) it could run it.

What about the NVIDIA options I listed the 630 vs 650, I really don't want to have to spend an extra 150$ but if thats what I need I will.

Thanks again

630 should be fine - D3/DB need more CPU than graphics

2-3 Bots on an Intel 3000 GPU (Desktop!!!) also run fine

Ok other question is I seem to be fixated on getting an i7, in your guys opinion is it that much better than an i5 with similar specs because I could save money getting an i5 to get a better graphics card.

Again uses would be regular computing, photoshop/dreamweaver usage, some botting and occasional gaming.

Try to get all info I can before I buy something before cyber monday deals end. XD

cyber monday deals are sometimes more expensive

I agree cyber monday deals probably over rated but the laptop I was gonna get has a coupon that last till tomorrow for $220 off which helps a lot. Probably will be a similar deal again but not till after Christmas I bet and my laptop broke so the timing is important.

Anyways I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy this custom HP Envy dv6t with NVIDIA 630M Graphics over the 650 to save $100, now just trying to read up on the difference between 1GB of dedicated video memory and 2GB.
