If I buy DB I only have one account to bot on. I dont plan on botting multiple accounts cba buying more D3 keys. One is enough.

I dont plan on making money. I just want to have fun.

1 bil gold can do wonders.

tbh, if you want to get paragon levels, you can get 1bil gold in about 3 weeks worth of botting 24/7 and also get 100 paragon with it.

keep all ammies and ring unid and sell them. You can also sell unid legendaries. As on the average you will be making more selling them unid.
i think it comes out to be about 3mil/hr if you sell unid legendaries+unid rings/ammies.

so you do the math.

gold is very cheap right now but it's a one time thing
bot will constantly generate gold but economy is sh1t due to lots of factors and not only bots so 1b 3-4 weeks is a fair assessment if u know what u are doing.
however general consensus (even if there are no bans right now ) is that you should't bot on an account that you care about . so you need to get a second account if u decide to bot

If you are botting for extra gold, then these days you are better off just buying the gold IMO. For the price of DB you can get way more gold than you need to gear up 3+ characters to farm MP10 ubers. But I enjoy botting for its own sake so if you like making your own scripts, etc. then buy the bot. But there is a risk of ban, even though there hasn't been a ban wave since December

- I make about 50 mil a day (1b per 3 weeks), but I do id my items. There is a chance you id some insane item, and sell it for way more. The chance is very low, but it's still more fun than the stability with unid items.
- Banwaves happen every month now it seems.
- Get a bot if you enjoy maintaining it. Otherwise, buy gold. You won't make much botting.
- Your main can get banned as well if you just do money transfers. Don't be naive.

I just started (took a year break from last year) and wanting to gear up my barb..What are your recommendations on how to start it off so I can have enough gold to farm for gears? I read around and every profiles here and there requies 20-50 mill, some even 350-500mill to run a barb bot, which seems like a lot of money to for a fresh bot like me..Please help!

IMHO, you will need 200m+ for an efficient bot. Or it might take you months to really start farming. By that time you might be banned. You need to do like MP5+ to get to paragon 100 quickly.
