Hi! Dunno if this has been answered already, but it seems like you actually can make money on buying gold from Chinese sites and then sell for profit on the RMAH.
Even after the 15% fee it still looks possible.

I can for example buy 2 Mill from one site (that i know is legit) for 2.4 Dollars (2?) and sell this on the RMAH for 5? (4.25? after fee) Now imagine doing this with large amounts of gold o.0

On paper this looks legit, but it seems too good to be true. So what im asking is has any of you tried this?
 
i cant even sell my shit for 2.4e so i dont know how you do it at 5..
 
yes same here lol, cant even sell at the lowest rate possible, the gold i make, but buy more :)))

Yo'all talking like the hardest thing to do is farm gold.

The biggest problem is FINDING CUSTOMERS!!! Every 12 year old can farm gold and try to sell it .... and i am not talking about botters ... even legit players who actually know how to play the market and game it self are selling gold on GAH.

Now tell me how will you with your wild idea go and buy gold from chinese then resell it on GAH do it if competition is so strong? ... and trust me you are not the only one who came up with this ... its just a baddd idea.
 
What about buying some goldz for 0.8e/m and selling it for 100e/m to mentally retarded people? That woulda been some sweet profit. Now imagine doing this with 100 billion of goldz.

I honestly thought the market was stronger. I sold my first auction (like 5 mill) after just a few minutes.
Other than that i haven't really put my mind into the economy of this game, and i had no clue the market was that bad before i made this post.

But now i know... cheers!

And for the record i never had any intention of going through with this. Like i said: "On paper this looks legit, but it seems too good to be true"
 
It is legit and doable, but you would still want to farm the gold yourself, because RMAH poses a limit of 1500$ on you. You don't really want that to shrink to e.g. 500 now do you?
 
When you sell gold on RMAH you only get about 70% so 1m = ~1.8$ and the rate in chinese gold selling sites are like 1m = ~1.3. So you'll make around ~.50$ per mil profit. But this only works if the gold you put on RMAH sells.
 
Then do it in europe. Our gold is at .7 easily availible even cheaper sometimes and RMAH still gives 1.8 ;)

well... its almost impossible to sell gold on eu atm. of course there are ppl who are lucky to sell a mil or two from time to time but this is far from being considerably constant.
 
for how much per mill?
my 80mill has sat there for a day and a half almost and not 1 million was sold.

It is always at 0.25c per 100k so $2.5 per mil ($1.8 after taxes)

The people who claim to have sold it for more than the minimum are either lying or got VERY VERY LUCKY.
I am talking about US servers btw.
 
yep just reporting back i sold 40 mill gold just then in the last 30 minutes of my listing... there was still 40 mill remaining... i relisted that now...
i paid $125 for 100m gold
