the comments on the site for it says it works in WOD XD

As of 6.0.1 (build 18738), Northern Cloth Scavenging is renamed to Cloth Scavenging & finding extra cloth is not exclusive to Northrend humanoids, but for all humanoids.

but i was unaware of this perk since i never done tailoring until recently XD

None of the perks work for WoD. Just like the potions master or flask master for alchemy, none of them with happen for WoD items.

Except for the part where cloth taking up database capacity really is the least of their worries.

Well there is only 2 recent comments on cloth scavenging and they really dont give any proof that it actually works on WOD things and I couldnt find anywhere else that it actually works still.

Edit: Ya looked into it a little bit more, cloth scavenging only works on humanoids, the cloth for this expansion only drops of animals so there is no way it works.

it is a bit strange right now.
i write private profiles, and some customers told me, that their gph wnt from 2k down to 800 in tolvir. others say they didn't realize any change.
maybe it is like the grind protection. as long as you don't do it for to long, droprate is normal. if you grind the same dungeon for maore than a fixed time, it will lower the droprate. same that they did before with experiance.
 
still getting around 400gph in grim batol. o and thanks to this post, someone bought all my cloth off the ah!!

lol Im guessing its all the same person trying to spark up interest in older items. No one needs older items to lvl up their stuff anymore. Since WoD the old content shit has dropped interest big time.

I really hope so too. Bags were a big market for me early expansion, but prices have gone below craft costs in the last 2 weeks, and I've got a lot of stock still to sell off.
 
I can CONFIRM that this guy is not a troll. The Stonecore is nerfed cuz of all the wallhacking Chinese dudes. Im getting 8-10 embersilk after having my bags FULL. It is only Stonecore though and not Tolvir for example

EDIT:
Rofl Stonecore is really nerfed to the ground. Before this nerf weapons sold for 20~30G now 4~5G.

No kidding, check it yourself

I hope you guys realize there is more than ONE WAY to get cloth. And every stack of embersilk does NOT come from stonecore. Even if the nerf is real it will raise the price by 10s.

Bag prices will go up. With 6.1 bringing heirlooms back, and the lv 1 mount there is going to be a massive spike in alt creation, those alts will need bags. Also, HB won't work for a while after the patch so might want to stock up for it.
 
Ya it actually does look like the drop rate was severely hit, my guess is the combat bots instance farming. There was a video of hundreds of bots flying into stonecore. Im guessing its to stop that shit.

But as someone else said, there are tons of other spots that are still available. Im farming some as we speak just in case.
