shit I have found a pair of MTX subwoofers, 3-4 computer towers, endless laser printers and monitors which i have resold from doing it.
not that bad, just makes you look kinda funny to passerbys

There's plenty of good stuff, you just have to look for it. For 3000 Euro's I could get like 40 used Core2 office surplus and make my own bot farm datacenter out of them.

I have a better suggestion, buy both. If your budget is truly 3k you can afford what im suggesting for around $800 and then buy that dream computer for $2200 that will be about 8-12% quicker.

buy barebones kits, screw the OS (pirate it) get a $70 SSD for your main, any 4/5/6XX GTX series (no gts) and your set. ddr3 is so dirt cheap its sick.
just dont skimp on the PSU if you wanna OC/have high end videocard
get aftermarket cooler, OC it a lil bit and your gravy

so i5 it is then, the ram is also selected. But how about a graphics cards? How many bots can i run with an i5, gonna overclock + watercooler and 32 gb ram and + the missing link of a graphics card.

Gonna use ssd too.

why don't you just buy a ?50 cooling unit for your laptop, since you said it was too hot... a hot laptop can turn an i7 into an i3.

Soon I'm buying a 600~ ? laptop, don't go and spend 1000-3000 euros when you don't need to... download Speedfan and MSI Afterburner... turn the fans up and you'll see a big increase in performance.
