Bulding a computer, best bang for the buck!

The Xeon are server CPUs mostly and way overpriced. Just get the 3770k and you'll be fine. GPU wise the 7970 will last you years.

Can i also use the Core i7-3930K ? or its too overpriced?

So 1x 7970 6B is much better than 2x of lesser cards running crossfire sli?

isnt i7 better than i5 ? I was thinking of a computer that will take on the new coming games, at the same time being able to bot multiple of them. Id rather pay 3k euro for a computer that will take on the next 3 years generation of games while running multiple bots, than paying 1k that cant handle the beast games to bot on the coming years.

i-5is equal for gaming as hyper threading is not used in many games nor will be... save you $100 right there. I was confused to your initial post, I thought you wanted something you can bot d3 but it sounds like you want more the complete package and with 1-3k euros you can afford it. However I think its a huge waste of money and not half as fun as making a nice budget machine built to last. (learn to overlock)

thats what i suggested! get a 6 core, OC'-it! multi tasking power is key here i think.

Since u have money to spend, get a geforce 690 and if needed, get a 2nd one to ?ber kill all future games for years! But u need a strong and good PSU for it, etc...!

CPU 3570k
MBO 1155 Socket mainboad with Intel Z77 Chipset
RAM 4x8GB 1600 PC3 (it's cheap like hell)
HDD 2TB HDD SATA3 for windows and stuff and a 240GB SSD only for Diablo3
GFX HD7770 cheap, very efficient, since diablo 3 doesnt need high and grahpics.. bottleneck is lack of cpu power not the gfx

I hate everyone who can get shipments from newegg :P I swear, I'd upgrade my PC every few months at those prices!

Also, HT is quite useful for botting despite it not being very useful for gaming itself. Yes, if you are just playing WoW or BF3 or whatever, HT is not gonna be much help, but if you're running 3 games + 3 bots + torrents + surfing the web + listening to music, HT will be quite useful.

Ht? Which cpu has that?

Why pick the 3570k instead of the 3770k?

About the graphic card, i was thinking of something that can bot d3 and wow and other future maybe heavy games.

Its either gonna be a really cheap machine 1k + euro that os best bang for the buck that can be overclocked etc. Or a expensive complete package.

thats why you need someone like me who works at a parcel/package shipment store. send it here and for a nominal fee, goes to youuu :}

okay your really stretching it by comparing the i5 & i7 like that
there are many things that affect performance that are very different in those 2 processors.

the cache size of a i5 to i7 is very much different, this goes into areas such as "multitasking" and other intense applications.
i5 = 3-6mb l3 cache vs i7 8-15mb. take anything and cut it in half, its gunna suck compared to the original

overclocking headroom & base clock speed are much much more friendly on the i7. being intel high end, you know i5 & i3 wont be made of anything but inferior (by a tiny margin) products to show the durability and power of the highest end product.

on HT, sure d3 doesn't use hyperthreading. but guess what, this isn't a console, and d3 isn't the only program running.

If you want to have a good smooth pc experience, im telling ya, you want all your background services to be handled just fine. and things like HT start helping out even if your not aware.

lol this guy has no respect for the I5-3750k, im shocked... hes ill-informed trust me. You're comparing a $320 proc to a $220 one. I'm saying the money is nowhere near justified in the difference. Do you honestly disagree?

In the OP he asked "I was thinking of something that gives the best bang for the buck. I dont need the 10/10 most super best graphic card and is 2x more expensive than the next best thing. And so on with the other parts. " So I gave him that answer.

its called futureproofing. no HT, for all you know, next patch will enable it. I guess to me, id pick a i7 over a i5 anyday, because that $100 is going to buy me some time, and in the end people do alot more with their computers than d3.

i dont like the i5, because im not a cheapass fanboy. I pay money for high end. You want to do shit in windows while your game is botting? get the i7, you just play d3 and nothing else, no photoshop, video rendering (avi -> dvdvideo) then the i5 is "fine"

when im going to shell out cash for something new, bang for buck includes - potential overclock, time til obsolete (futureproofing), raw power, and newage/current gen features.
go ahead, buy some shit without a current modern tech, then when things you like embrance it, go shell out another part because you didnt want to afford it

basically if you wanna save money, dont even go through intel. go through AMD, thats the only reason AMD even exists is because they cater to the poormans market which is big

dont waste your money on the high end CPUs if you're just botting D3 it will take awhile to make your money back.

Okey guy new update. Ive talked to the geeks at my local store. A guy is talking about using a server instead of a normal pc. He said that i dont need that heavy graphic card because the graphic card only processes the output on my screen. Since d3 bots will be on background, he said it would be much cheaper to set up a server package that will be purely for d3/wow boting.

Best bang for your buck is free! Look in craigslist for old office clearance stuff. People just literally give this stuff away. A dual core pentium (core2 based) with a geforce 8800 can effectively run 4 bots and probably more with more memory.

The geeks at your local store are fucking idiots. the d3 bots will be in the background but they will not be minimized so the graphics card still has to draw every single thing. If you minimize the windows the bot stops working basically. The ONLY way to minimize it is Vmware and have VMware moved to the taskbar but vmware sucks.

True my cousin has a Quad Core 8200 and it can run 3 maybe 4.

the only shit you can get around here for free off craigslist is firewood and burnt up tires.

if anything you want like that free, lower your self pride a little bit and go dumpster diving @ larger offices and office supply retail stores
