ive been playing around with building/buying and after loads of calculating and research i came to the conclusion that building one although it gives you lots of flexibility on what components you use, is unfortunately ultimately more expensive than buying one.
You know sites where you can tell them what to put on your computer is always cheaper (by about 100 - 200 dollars for a 1500 dollar worth of parts computer)
but this is because i live in the states.
build your own - more flexibility on componants but more expensive
have it built - slightly less flexibility on componants but ~ 200 dollars cheaper per 1500 dollars worth of equipment
(US dollars and i live in the US)
i got mine built here 3 years ago - CyberPowerPC - UNLEASH THE POWER - Create the Custom Gaming PC and Laptop Computer of your dreams
Another such site
iBUYPOWER Gaming PC: Custom Gaming Computers and Laptops
now at the time cyber power was cheaper for the same computer than ibuyp
not sure how it works now, id say look around online for similar but NEW sites (usually they will be cheaper because they just started off)
Most importantly though pls read reviews on the site so you dont get scammed
finally pro tip : always go for the "free shipping" deals as this will save you some money
take care hope you decide accordingly and make a great computer, let us know what specs you get on that beast when you dobe it build your own or Built <3
There is a reason that they are cheaper. They use lesser quality brands and parts.
You're not going to get the same parts, their cost of man hours in labor, the upcharge of it being assembled, for even cheaper then the cost of parts.
Idk if you priced the parts at best buy or something, but I saved nearly $200 on assembling it myself compared to other quality builds. Theres a reason why there are so many extensive reviews on power supplies alone. A cheapo $20 700w powersupply can really cause a lot of destruction to your other components.
