[bug] Adventurer freezes DemonBuddy

For some reason I cannot install the latest version of Adventurer in DB. When I load DB it says that my version is outdated even though I have replaced Adventurer with the newest update. When I try to configure the plugin it locks up DB and crashes. What am I doing wrong?
 
Have you replaced it, or deleted the previous one and install a new one? The later option is the one you need to do. Also, make sure you delete "CompiledAssemblies" from DB folder.
 
I have deleted the previous one and replaced it with the updated version. Installing it just requires you to delete the original and unzip the update in the DB folder? I have not tried deleting the CompiledAssemblies but I will give that a try.
 
I re-read the install instructions and got it to work properly so that Adventurer is running the most current version; however, when running DB under the plugins tab if I click Adventurer and click Configure it locks up DB.
 
Have you tried that BuddyWizard thingy?

It basically installs all the dependencies the program needs in order to run properly. There's no particular reason why it should act the way it acts for you, and you said you followed all the instruction, so it must be it. I think.

I was not aware of this. I'll try this out. Thank you for all the help. I'll reply after trying buddywizard.
 
So I completely removed DemonBuddy. I did a fresh install and then updated trinity and adventurer. I then ran BuddyWizard and then ran DB. I tried to configure Adventurer once again and it caused DemonBuddy to stop working. I'm not sure what the problem is at this point. This is a fresh install of everything.

EDIT: I just tried turning off Trinity and running Config on Adventurer and it finally let me access the config settings without crashing; however, after saving changes and closing DB crashed again.

Can you share the logs? I sure the developers will have more insight of the problem with these

This is me loading DB and then going to Plugins and trying to access config for Adventurer, DB lags and then stops responding all together and closes.
 
Yes, I tried windowed mode actually and it seemed to have relieved some of the issues.

Yeah, Demonbuddy doesn't support fullscreen mode, it has to be windowed or fullscreen(windowed) mode for it to work properly. That might be your main problem.

Windowed has pretty much fixed everything for me. Thank you for your support. Problem solved.
 
My problem wirh Adventurer plugin

Hi!
I have exact same problem as Deficator.
I attentively read all the information, including this thread and I can not understand my problem? I can not open the configuration of Adventiurer plugin. The DB-program is urgently closed if I click on the plug-in. I'm not in full-screen mode, all plug-ins and the program itself is fully renovated according to the instructions. Help me please correct the problem.

I can not make any changes to the Adventurer-plug. I can only load the basic profile and use it. For example i can`t change the level of G-rift.
Configuration of Adv-plug is not selected. By clicking on the configuration, the program is urgently closed.

this should be

You have installed Adventurer to wrong folder, check main adventurer post for installation folder instructions.
