[BuddyTeam] Grand Treasure Hunter

Had to comment out treasure 34743, line 125 in shadowmoon valley. It completed it but kept looping the wait timer multiple times, even after stop and start.
Also had to comment out 33891, line 272, shadowmoon valley. It stood at the same spot for 15-20 minutes saying no viable mobs. Not sure if bugged or just long respawn timer.

33573 and 33584, line 281 and 291, shadowmoon are bugged, they try to run into the wall endlessly due to treasure being elevated but you have no problem clicking it from the ground.
Clicked them manually and started again, kept going fine.

Edit.

Besides the problems reported it completed 201 or 202 treasures and got the achievement.
Gonna rerun it just to make sure it uncovered all areas.
Hm, there's currently no known issues with 34743. How long did it loop?
Most treasures take up to 60seconds before the bot updates whether the quest is complete or not.
If it never updates, you may have a corrupt cache.

I'd need a log to tell what's going on with 33891.

The navigation issue with 33573 and 33584 are known, both are mostly Mesh issues.
They're fixed in the flying version, but not in the ground (yet.)

In the spirit of being thorough I added TomTom coords as well as hotspots.
It was missing a total of 13 areas to get draenor explorer.

Thanks for an awesome profile, really great stuff!! :)
Thanks! I'll take note of these spots.
Once things come together with Draenor Pathfinder - we'll look into securing these spots a bit better either via Questing, Missives, or any other means.

For each bugged one I made sure to let it run at least 90 seconds, so it would be flagged.
I'm pretty good deleting both hb cache and wow.

I'll try to see if i can find log but look when it happened, but doubtful.

I intentionally typed "valuable" items for a reason.
Quest items and dungeon trash aren't valuable by any means by the average user.
And given you don't loot items from battlegrounds to invoke the vendoring logic, I don't really see why you included that in your statement.

If you're not going to take the five seconds to protect your own gear from being sold, then I can't help you.
There's options in the Settings & Tools that let you control overrides, and there's also protected items lists designed purely for protecting items.
It's widely common sense that you should never carry valuable items in your inventory while botting and in a situation that you absolutely have to carry valuables - it's assumed that you should know to check the overrides before starting.

We as profile developers cannot tailor to every specific user's needs and instead, hope that our users will use a bit of intuition before starting a profile they've never used before.

The decision was made to have the bot sell blues because after an extended amount of testing - we noticed our testers would get stuck because the inventory would be full and the bot couldn't vendor to make the profile continue.
When writing a profile, the absolute goal is to make it as 'AFK'able as possible so that the user won't have to interact at all.
With blues not being sold, there was pretty much an 100% chance of the bot getting stuck at some point.

The bot getting stuck during operation is a larger problem for the average user than the bot potentially selling valuable items because they failed to check the overrides before starting.
Like I said, most people know not to bot with valuables, and in a situation where they needed to - they'd protect them from being sold.

There's very little blues during treasure hunter, bot will not get stuck because of that unless you got a freaking backpack and no other bags. Tested it on few chars and if you will refuse to acknowledge it still I will proceed to take a video.

Furthermore I do believe your profile should be taken down from being listed as official buddy team products, simply because it doesn't live up to the standards. Every other Buddy Team profile get by this "problem" without any issues by simply not selling god damn honor gear.

Surprise surprise - no stucks because of selling items despite getting tons more blues during questing than during treasure hunting. No other Buddy Team profile has a problem with that, yours is the only one, I'll let you draw a conclusion on which profile was written poorly yourself - was it all other Buddy Team profiles, or yours.
It's just a bad practice for a profile to do that and that's all.

You seems to make a good profiles, but the problem is you get so damn defensive about your work you are not open to any improvements, it's a really bad practice and a really bad resulting product that sells honor gear. I've been using hundreds profiles from here including user made ones, and yours is by far the only one to do that, all the other profiles are doing just fine without selling honor gear.

Would love to see a simple change in profile so it doesn't do that anymore, but I'm already prepared for seeing someone get more defensive than normal person should and long-ass list of excuses...

You only tested this on a few characters? Well if you weren't aware, in order to properly test a profile that's going out to over thousands of users, you're going to need to test it on a lot more than just a few characters.
It would be inconsiderate to assume everyone has massive bags, and that they would never get full.

There is a lot more than "very little" blue armor/weapon treasures out there considering that there's 22 in Shadowmoon Valley alone.
And given it's not even one of the bigger treasure zones, I think my reasoning for setting blues to be sold is justified and that your claims of this only being an issue if you only have a single backpack isn't.

As of date, I've personally tested these profiles on over 80 characters, and over 3/4ths of them had issues with the bags being full - hence why the decision was made in the first place.
Even Hawker himself stated that blues should definately be sold. This same reasoning is also why Blues are set to be sold in the Kick questing project.

Given blues are sold and knowing that some people (for whatever reason) bot with valuables on their character, I've clearly typed on the front page that blues are sold.
This way users are aware so that they can simply set their override via the Settings & Tools menu.
Super simple, and it's an overall considerate solution. No biggie at all right? The choice is there and the profile won't get stuck. All you've got to do is read the front page.

I don't get defensive, but when you completely ignore the instructional text on the thread, go into a profile blindly without considering anything, then try to pit your own mistakes on me and claim it's a profile problem - that's a bit frustrating.
If you'll notice above tomten2 has been super helpful in critizing, suggesting improvements, and reporting bugs and I've not once got defensive over it.
He has been very constructive and nice throughout this whole process unlike you.
From your first post you had agressive intentions - and I understand why, your gear was sold. But as I've said multiple times, you should've taken the time to read the thread.

Selling blues by default is not going to be removed simply because like I said before, this would cause more problems than it would solve.
I've made it clear on the front thread that blues will be sold, so it's assumed users like you should read this and set overrides acordingly.

That's alright, I'll be sending more testers on it soon.

Right now we're all tied up with getting Draenor Pathfinding working so I haven't been able to give all the other projects much attention.

Love it! Although; anyway to just run the Tanaan Jungle with flying?
I've formatted the profile so each farm section can be collapsed into easier-to-read sections.

You can delete each section to remove that farm zone, here's an edited verison:

Keep in mind this profile won't get -every- Tanaan treasure.
When it was created, none of my characters had any progression in Tanaan, and several of the treasures are locked behind progression barriers.
I would've fixed it up by now, but most of my attention has been set towards making the Tanaan Diplomat as flawless as possible.

This log shows a spot where my priest "scooted" around a small area shortly after failing the jump to reach a treasure. The bot attempted the jump over, and over. Never making the jump. I stopped the bot, made the jump myself, and then continued the bot. After I pressed start, the bot started the "scooting" and slowly moved over to a puddle(?) of lava, went into the lava, and tried to heal through it. I stopped again, moved, healed, and continued with no further issues in the area.

This is the treasure the bot was going for;

MoveTo failed to move to the location: <6207.02, 6572.853, 190.6316>
[MyCTM-v1906(debug)] Stuck. Trying to jump
[InteractWith-v2106(warning) @line 267]: Attribute 'Name' is not recognized by this behavior--ignoring it.

In Frostfire Ridge, it keeps falling through the cliff where you have to jump at. Eventually it ignored it, but I went back manually and got it.

Sorry for the delay in response.

Since the bot doesn't natively support jumping - I had to write a lot of timed Lua jump commands.
Unfortunately things like latency or movement speed can easily break this. I've been working out something that should help with the jumps but I havent gotten around to finalizing it yet.

(As stated above in my last response) Sorry for the delay in response, been busy with some things.

It's a bit hard to tell exactly what's causing the error since the culprit would lie within the series of events leading up to the issue.
I know its been a while and you probably do not - but do you have a full log of this I could look at?

If not, I'll see about sending a tester over to it to see what's going on.

Why does the bot constantly wait 60 seconds after doing something? It's making it take a lot longer than it should.

Why does the bot constantly wait 60 seconds after doing something? It's making it take a lot longer than it should.
There was bugs in the Interaction logic which would cause the bot to not interact but 'think' it interacted.
So it would continue - leaving the treasure behind.

So to counter this, all the treasure gathers are looped until the quest flag is complete.
However, for whatever reason it takes up to 60 seconds for the quest flag to actually read as complete - so the bot is looping from that.

In a more recent variant of the profile ('Master' Treasure Hunter) - I've added a new method of hopefully preventing the interact error.
However it hasn't been fully verified as a solution - and it hasn't made it over to these profiles.

You could try it if you want.

does this also do all Tanaan treasures & rares ?

If not.. any suggestions ?
It doesn't do rares at all.
Not 'all' the Tanaan treasures - but all the ones that are openly accessible without needing to do the quests first.
I never got around to advancing my character through the garrison missions / Tanaan missions enough to unlock all the sequences.

this isnt very good. i get stuck almost every other or every treasure.
last night i fell asleep watching it. it was at 17. woke up this morning with wow turned off, and i thought it was done. logged in, it was at 17.

Could you post a log? Also what FPS/Latency do you run at on average?
