Introduction

BuddyProwl is a plugin that will send messages to your iPhone on certain events in-game.

I'm currently coding this plugin for myself, but am nice enough to share it with all of you!

Feel free to post suggestions, I can't promise anything tho, since I'm not that good at coding this kind of stuff. :)

Note: After every new release, it's recommended to check the settings to make sure they are all correct, and then save them again. This is because some settings can get changed or replaced etc.

What is needed?
Was a while since I did connect my iPhone to the service, it's not hard, read on their site if you don't know what to do!

  • Message on whisper
  • Message when people use /say, /yell, /guild and /officer (All messages or only those containing your name)
  • Message on level up
  • Message upon reaching max honor
  • UI to change settings
  • More to come

Getting Started
* Download and place the folder in Plugins.
* Start Honorbuddy.
* Go to the Plugins tab and start the plugin.
* Click config and put in your key and pick your options.

I don't believe DLLs are supported at the moment. They pulled that support a while ago.
 
Have ran into some problems, since Buddy (yeah, right) do not want me to use what I need. Thinking about making an external .exe for that part. Will be a bit busy over the weekend so expect some kind of release during next week!
And I can say this right now, if you are too paranoid to trust this plugin, then simply don't use it. I'm making it for myself and sharing it. :)

None, had to do some URL encoding, but found a way to do it. :)
Hope you don't mind it's based on your code atm! :D

This makes me want to stop jailbreaking my iphone.. But, not enough.. I'll miss my apps.. lol. Nice release though xD
 
Np, glad you could use it, for the level up use KingSMS in my sig, it has that supported aswell
 
This is excellent!

Purchased the app and had everything setup in no time. Had an issue receiving push notifications after the install, but a reboot of the phone made everything work smoothly. Hope to see continued development on this project!
 
Glad you liked it. It will ofc be developed in the future as well. Not able to work on it this week tho.
 
I have installed the app - created the account, then found out, that I need another program, since Im a PC-user, not a mac-user. Installed Growl, but it doesnt get anything when I /w my bot ingame.. Ofc I have installed the plugin :P What might be wrong?
 
You do not need anything except the plugin and Prowl on you phone. Are you sure you put you API-key in the config?
