Buddy Team developing 3rd party tool for Diablo III

This will be the next big thing, trust me, been waiting for this for a long long time.
 
also investment wise it is way safer to put money to develop a d3 bot than it is to develop a sw tor one.

solely because of this I believe d3 bot will be ready in no time.

Could be. We learned a lot from developing BuddyWing, which is knowledge that is transferred straight to Demonbuddy, without requiring the same amount of time. SWTOR was new, from an entirely different developer, and therefore it took longer than expected. Diablo 3 is Blizzard, and we know a thing or two about them already. :)

There is definitely the possibility of using it as a money making bot, but there will be some fairly tight limitations on it. 10 listings at a time max per account. And If you plan on transferring the money to your bank account or paypal, you will lose a total of 30% (+ $1 if its for armor/weapons)

And if you are caught botting, can Blizzard and your bank sue you for credit card fraud because you sold items you obtained illegally ?

I'm 99% sure that they can't. Just imagine the trial, how funny it would be.
Blizzard will do the same as in WoW, when a botter is banned his gold is deleted but those who bought items keep them. With IRL money the account will be banned but they can't sue him as the buyer still has his items. If Blizzard deletes the items it will then be its fault as the banks protect their clients, not Blizzard.

However it will be easier for Blizzard to make the bot companies illegal as it will be a way to "obtain items illegally" as you said.
 
The introduction of real world currency/bank/paypal transactions puts a whole new spin on things, I will need to be 100% certain before i will be botting my D3 account. While we bot with imaginary currency now, once it actually means something in the real world it takes on a whole new meaning and a whole heap of complex legal issues with it.

Less than the time it took for Blizzard to release Diablo III

Got using waypoints working today, gonna start looking some more at combat later. Switching skills as you level up etc.

No it won't, other bot companies who say they will is probavlly lying, the retail client isn't the same as the one in the beta and it will probablly take a day or so to get things working again.

A few weeks after the game has been released maybe sooner maybe later, can't promise anything.
It's done when it's done. :)

Other bots may work, but they aren't Buddy products!

When you are botting on WoW you sell the gold for real money and when Blizzard ban you they d nothing for it. I think the worst that could happen is a partnership with PayPal and they could ban your account. I've done worst shit with PayPal and CC and nothing happened.

No, I have never sold any gold for any real money, you assume every uses HB to make money, I just use it for myself.

When someone knows for sure then I will bot, "I think" doesn't really cut it as a legal term or legal advice I am afraid.

Then how come your bank could sue you if you don't even use the IRL money of D3?

And I used "I think" because D3 is not released yet and the economy system is very new, so you were a fool to expect a "legal term" by asking this question. I am just sharing my experience with PayPal and CC fraud, you can make your own conclusion on how Blizzard will act with botters.
