I don't think a content patch would have messed with the core of the game enough to cause issues to a bot developer. I could be wrong but I think most of the issues the HB team was having revolved around getting the combat system working properly, which remains mostly untouched from this patch.

I've stopped playing and most people I know that were playing have quit aswell. There's a ton of servers tho and plenty of folk still playing, Just not as many as Bioware would like :( I'm sure Buddy wing generate a lot of money. But its missed its window and each day that goes past its losing potential customers. lets look forward to the next big thing "Guild wars 2" but since thats from NC Soft its pretty much doomed aswell.

Being in longer ques than WoW every day on my server meens there's alot of people still playing. Maybe not asmuch as WoW but never the less I prefer SWTOR to WoW 7/10. Once they fix the bugs and some of the pvp the game will be great. GW2 is meh, from what I've seen. No class specifics make me cringe and the fact that everyone is the tank and healer... Kinda defeats the purpose of me playing it. Tho PvP is GW1 was awesome, GW2 needs the same PvP to compete. Mist looks like shit. But I'll still play it since I want something to compete in since the start of SWTOR was a fuckfest of shit. And with D3 coming out in a month. I can say that the only reason I will be playing that is for the money. Thats all.

On another note. Any mod want to say when the bot will be at least hitting beta?
 
We already have the bot up and running from yesterday's patch

there was another patch today which Apoc will have to fix the bot for ofc (after the servers come up we can test it)

He's in the middle of fixing various minor bugs and hopefully after that it will be test ready.

It all depends on stability...
 
Today was my first day off in a couple weeks and I wanted to spend it playing this game, but servers are down all day. :P

Hopefully servers will be up in 3 weeks when i get my next day off.
 
cant wait for this bot it is going to be great I don't have the time to play as much as I would like to play and this will make a huge difference for me going to buy as soon as released

It was planned for 1 month ago, then for two weeks ago and last word was "we are close".
I think it si not easy to predict this stuff (new tech) and to plan for it, when we forced them to do it anyhow they missed the date

So the best we can do is to wait, try not to get bored by the waiting, and be happy when they release it.

Be sure than when it will be out there will be anyhow several frustrating bug either on the client or on the server part of the bot.
Again it is normal, we had that as well on HB before it went really stable, just keep the right level of expectation and You will be not unhappy :D
 
Should we wait a bit before using the bot at the risk of ban or will it be safe we as safe as botting can be
 
noone really knows at this point. People that have been getting banned due to the pvp bots are getting a 1-week suspension with no possibility of an appeal.

If you're afraid of losing your account due to botting, I wouldn't suggest using any brand new bot.
 
I used ares pvp on my account a couple close calls but no ban I'm hoping to use a questing bot for many more alts I can't even use chat now I am known as the botter now kind of sucks having a 50 that can't do much with others

Sorry a lil off topic but I didnt know they stopped your from chatting and stuff if you are caught botting?
 
hey guys, apoc gives me build after build and they have various issues.

1.2 changed some things and we're having to debug it

atm we're on commit 549 and build 124

It's coming along... it just takes time :(
