IMO It's already more engaging to new users than WoW or other MMO's, if it gives me a reason to want to Quest to the end, I am already in love. HOWEVER, if they don't open World PVP among a few others, it may flop quick ...

i played the beta and honestly: besides the cutscenes i don't see anything that make me seriously play this game atm. it's a 100% wow clone and they didn't add anthing new. the world is empty and the animations look stiff. i hate to run along big empty cities. the cities are soo big and yet so empty. combat is really boring and it plays so laggy. activating your spells is not responsive like in wow. often i have to push the button twice. plus: there is no endgame yet. and did i mention the railed worlddesign?

why would i play a game like wow from the beginning again? goin' through all the bugs, the patches and so on? if they at least added something new, but it's just really wow with sw theme. and it's not even close to be good as wow. heck, the even cloned the talent-system, which wow is goin to change dramatically with pandaria for a reason.

the only reason i might have a look at it is, with a bot i can sell credits.

calling me an idiot and telling me it's no offense at the same time shows that you're the real big idiot here. sorry, no offense lol. beta players played the retail build already and why do i need to wait for the release to jugde the game when i played the retail build is beyond me. the release won't change anything.

as for pre orders: there where a lot of games with high pre orders and big hype, just to end in the muck after a moth with all the players coming back to wow. i have to see one mmo yet, that's close to wow when it comes to success. you don't seem to have a clue do ya? besides most of the players who pre ordered didn't play the beta. and they don't expect swtor to be a 100% wow clone. from what the devs saying in their interviews one might think they developed a completly new game and that's why ppl pre ordered. a lot of those who played the beta canceled their pre orders lol. don't be such a fanboy.

PS I dont need a overcrowded City like Stormwind on Sundays...

I have to agree, I've been playing the early access, though I did cancel my preorder, It is very much like wow, combat is really boring, as much as i would love to like this game, it's making it quite difficult...

No, you saying that is 100% like WoW makes you and idiot. WoW is not Original to begin with Vanilla had a lot of interface and what not that was pretty damn close to the original Ever-quest. FOr all those people who keep calling crap WoW clone, at least be a little more accurate , if anything they are EQ Clones, only thing that Blizz had on EQ was the graphics at the time and of course Blizz dumb ed WoW down a bit. and Blizzard is going to help the cause with SWTOR, because WoW is going no where and this plan of a new expansion and the concept is not going over so well. At least until they bust out with their new uber top secret MMO they are supposed to have in development. I mean isn't their little annual pass gimmick enough to show how desperate they are right now.

Been playing Early Access, very excited about this game for alot of reasons. Yes, in alot of ways it is another WoW, however it's the way's that isn't which makes it BETTER. <3 SWTOR
