Hello everybody. I've bought dbuddy about 1 year ago, and it have always lagged my game, but i thought it was normal, until i see there's other people with those issues and then i've decided to ask for help too.

The bot in town normally lags the game, usually the FPS stays at 10~12. When my character enter grifts and see any mobs, it suddenly goes to 6~8, sometimes 10. It seems like this dumbs the bot, not really sure if it does. Always when i pause or stop the bot, the lag stops. Sometimes i get low fps even with the bot stopped, but just for seconds.

I've already seen some programs that i won't use and uninstalled all of them to check if was not lagging. It wasn't. I always get a "fresh" dbuddy copy to not get issues, so i think that's not the problem (i've never managed to install it, i always get the .zip folder).

I expect you people can help me fix this. Thanks :D.

Yea, same here. I am rocking a wopping 5 FPS when I run the bot lol. And I have a power beast animal machine PC

Well it's unplayable now.. everytime i see monsters it drops to 2 FPS and i die on grifts..
Dunno what happened on my buddy but it's getting harder to play.

Try going to Trinity Configure > Click Advance on the top > Scroll to bottom > Set the Ticks Per Second to 20+ .. When I did that, I now have about 40 FPS

let me know if this works for you

Unfortunately doing it didn't fix the whole problem.. it got better because doing that have increased the FPS again to 5~10 while killing mobs, and i got 10~15 on the city.

Edit: I appreciate that you're trying to fix my problem. Thank you very much. :)

I've formatted my computer and installed a clean windows10 pro (i was using win7 home premium). The only thing that i've installed before buddy and d3 was winrar. It continues to lower the game FPS to 6~10. When i pause the buddy, it goes up to 40, sometimes 70. Idk what's causing buddy lag. Please, I'd appreciate if anybody could fix this.
Thanks.

Try going through Windows Defender or your Antivirus and adding all program related to Diablo and Demonbuddy to exceptions in both File exceptions and Process exceptions. Make sure you also go to Windows Firewall with Advanced Security or your firewall and add rules to allowing TCP outbound and inbound on ports 1337, 5001, and 5031. Also open the ports on your router if you have one. I'm going to try this myself. It's something I found on the wiki.

just make ur game by windowed and with low resolution
and u can look a movie in botting :)

I always play windowed and low resolutions..
I've also changed on d3prefs disabletrilinearfiltering to 1, and hardwarclass to 2 (was 4 before). Nothing changes at all.

as long as we cant reproduce it on our machines it means its something that has to do with user setup/machine :(

I've already reinstalled windows here and it didn't solve the problem. When i stop or pause buddy, i get 20-60 FPS. When i start buddy i get 5-15 FPS. Something's very wrong.. But fuck the user, because the problem is in his computer.

I assume that all of you have removed the FPS restriction when the game isn't focused, right?

Ports doesn't have anything to do with lag.

Also, if it's THAT bad, check my signature. The graphics will be complete garbage, but at least you wont lag.

Both FPS restrictions are set to 150.

I'll try to use your d3prefs, thanks.

Btw, i've opened all that ports, and another ones that i've found on d3 forum.. nothing have worked (about ports)

Now i've got a wider range of FPS.. 4~20 while buddy's on.
And when it get 4, i see that there's no monsters on screen (i tought it would occur when have a lot of stuff and cc, but that's not it).
When DB it's off, i play with 30~60. I don't know if that's normal but my life and fury bar are appearing empty, so that's a little bit not enjoyable when playing by hand (that's not the most important thing, so i'm ok).

same problem here...

it was working fine on window & bot until a couple of days ago...

Hi, all,

Alas, there is no single cause for low FPS.

Easily, the #1 cause of low FPS triggered by Buddy bots is an interfering Antivirus:

If its not the Antivirus, this article should walk you through most of the other possibilities:

As Tony has previously stated, low FPS problems are going to be something peculiar to your machine. The Buddy bots perform great in an environment without interference.

cheers,
