Buddy Auth - Daily Allowance Exceeded

Just so you are aware, many people are having troubles with these two things.

Daily allowance Exceeded when trying to download

OR cant get the buddy auth path thing to work.

I am sure the server is being hit hard. (Or a binding issue?)

Yes, can we get some help with this please. I haven't downloaded a thing today but I get the "exceeded limit" message also.
