Breakneck 2.0 1-40 (Human)

well right now I am trying to build a gind for this. All he does is ride from the fountain to watcher dodds and back...no grinding that he is saying he is doing till 24.
and they need to fix that pathing big time...not only does it only go to every fucking light pole and hang but this stuff of oh I jumped over the hot spot let me go back is just as bad
 
Ok.. after a small family break.. back at it.. found a issue for rogues....

it's stuck trying to loot the Lucius's Lockbox. I had to disable the Loot Chests option to stop it. to a point its not bad for rogues as its the same spot as the practice lockboxes but its very slow process due to looting and blacklisting. I would recommend blacklisting that specific area, the coords are as follows:

X="-9225.939" Y="-2702.182" Z="89.08652"

this seems to only be an issue when Loot Chest are enabled.

Loot Chest is sick. If HB finds a chest it will, No matter what, try to collect it. I generally turn off "Loot Chests" because of that. I had a all nighter with red armor where it tried to loot a chest. 98 deaths I think... Not the best stats in Achievements ;)
 
I have to say this profile is DEFO NOT for PRIESTS.

Grinding between 20 - 22 - 250 kills 127 Deaths.
 
Basically everything - Wolves, Defias, Them bird vulture things, anything where the mobs are slightly packed together and can body pull. The priest a that level doesn't do well against multiple targets, as she runs out of mana too quickly.

Im not sure what I can do about it. If I made this profile with that in mind it would grind shit 8 levels below

Ye aI know mate, I was really just letting you know not really a bug report.

Unfortunately the default priest cc is on with 1 mob it works well, but it rubbish with multi mobs, and imop kryptor isnt much better. :-( Anyhoo the profile works well with the 4 other classes ive tried, just Priests suck :-)

Just back and forth you shouldn't pull adds.
The old glider route was start at the bridge and go to sven. back and forth...skinning you can't carry it all and its a good run.
when I hit some level this weekend he went into grinding and ran this area.
The thing about grinding I am not too sure of is how far until he decides to do something else.
He was grinding to 25 and killing skelies in the cemetery and doing great then he ran across the road, into sven's farm and tried to go inside. TALK ABOUT FUCKED UP he died 7 or 8 times.
I stopped and had to go repair and restock and when I hit go and he went to redridge... HUH ?
 
ok for those that have mass number of deaths. there are issues that happen like the loot chest glitch... which is a simple check. But as for the rest like the priest above. In helping people who've pm'd me ... remember that unless you know for sure how a CC works with a particular profile you should check it every so often the first couple times you run a profile. This in mind, i would HIGHLY recommend checking for new gear in the AH every 10 levels. (10, 20, 30, .....) This is due to once you hit 15 to 20 range, basic white/grey gear becomes a crutch. When getting gear, if you have gold flow problems i would say look at the weapon area for melee classes first.. and for spellers.. wearable gear.

Again, remember, unless you know how a profile and a CC work even 80% you should never assume it will always have the best results for you. After you run it a few times, you'll know where the quirks are and adjust things accordingly.. This will allow you to let it run longer without supervision.

Another tip, its mentioned in a few places, use lootfilter. I use it both botted and non-botted accounts. My own personal preference is to have it delete greys (if your short on gold some prefer to sell greys). But deleteing them allows for longer runs without requiring vendor runs.

As for the going from one area to another, odds are it was just following HB logic and if it couldnt' find a mob to kill in range, it started moving and went elsewhere (there are more then 1 hotspot ya know). As for dieing 7 or 8 times. When this happens, try to get the hotspot and post it (with what happened) and some of us thats testing it out can see if its a glitch or verify and mordd can include it.

As for going to redridge after you stop/reset. Remember questing is based on a 'ordered' logic basically so when you restart a process it will need to cycle thru things. Sometimes this means its moving back af ew steps to a 'break point' or the previous cycle its on is too old to go back to so it moves on to the next.
 
mordd I think a lot of this is just HB.
I think it gets confused and your need to reboot the computer.
Last night I saw two things about drops.
the one where you "A Baying of Gnolls" get the paw.

he got all the items for this and other quest in redridge but kept on going back and forth thru the pass killing and showing that it was trying to collect bolts and the other thing....he got all quest complete in one pass but never quit going back and forth.
I looked at the interface and my chr showed dead in his pic on top left.
Dead? he sure is killing good for being dead LOL

Same drop problem in westfall about collecting murkeyes scale.
It dropped he picked it up and it was still looking for murkeye and never finished the quest.

Again I think HB gets confused or something and the computer just has to be rebooted.

another funny thing on pathing...above he was questing in westfall and running into signs and fences. When he went to westfall to do this quest he ran thru the middle of the roads and didn't hit anything while I was watching.



the place you need to watch for deaths in svens farm are inside the buildings.
Best to blackspot the entrances, only thing for a cloth in there is death.
Lots of casters and mele make a bad mix. The only quest item in from the mound outside between the buildings.

set up a pathing to go down the right side all the way to the back to he hills and then counterclockwise following the hills and back to the entrance to the farm and its great exp killing wolves and stuff.
across the road to the east of the cemetery killing black widow hatchlings is another good place to grind and no one ever goes in there.

its been a while since I grinded in duskwood but across the road from westfall, down to sven and north to the river 19-21, the darkened bank 21-25 and 25-27 around svens farm was the way I did it.
also 25-30 can be done with good chr just over the mountain west from the inn is quiet and has one elite that roams there.

all of those places are good to grind...the first 19-21 has some company because of the pigmy spiders for the quest are thick there.
the quest in the cemetery. He was grinding there last night on the grind to 25 and he backed into the 3 graverobbers....oh F he is dead. Damn if he didn't kill them LOL

Yes 90 percent of the issues we have are the Nav. I wont say Main did a bad job. But when you keep adding features that affect Nav it will start to causing conflicts.

Hawker tells me he may have a solution to the fences and lamp posts as well as other Nav issues. So all we can do is wait.
 
i agree sparks... i've run 3 toons so far using this profile this week.. each one had little *issues* at different parts silimiar to yours listed. latest one is repairing issues. HB isn't handling the repair correctly... i've had 2 times so far today that i've run below 60% durabilty and HB doesn't go repair. It just sits there and attacks mobs within distance. If i stop/restart HB it does the same, if i stop, close, open, start HB it works normal and goes for repair. So i would say the profile itself is pretty good, most issues people have right now are related more to the HB side. This of course is out of mordds hands and as far as HB itself, they are working on a new release I am sure and with the next release some of these issues will vanish. :) All in all this is going great.

Edit 1: Just an FYI... the issue with no repair continued 2 more attempts (both included restarting wow itself also. I started up HB, and the toon just sat there. I manually moved him to the repair and as soon as I clicked the repair button, HB kicked in and started working normal again. I will monitor this and report back any thing else related to it.

Will it be problematic to add checkpoints later on, as opposed to as you go? Maybe I'm just unclear on how checkpoints work.
