Bowman - Survival / Marksman Hunter PvE & PvP CC [LazyRaider]

YES A BM SPEC PLEASE... i currently use the Outdated but still working rinusBM with LazRai. Its good at keeping the pet aggro'd but rubbish at dps.. rollout like 11-15k dps on a 393ilvl pve. yet its capable of a lot more... Nothing as high as Surv though.
That's all you can get? I have a BM / SV hunter, and on my BM spec I can easily get, at a minimum, of 17k dps. I'm using a worm with a DPS build, not a tank build. I keep the "Burrow Attack" (which is an AoE pet attack) off CD. I have it bound to a majority of my shots, so it's always being cast. That helps tons with building DPS numbers. My iLevel is only 383 on my hunter, and I use my SV gear on my BM spec, even though stat weights are a bit different between the two specs. And, that's using the CC you're using, since aside from CLU (which gets me only 11-12k DPS at best), that's the only other CC that support BM hunters.

Hey falldown --

When / If you do do a BM CC for PVP, look into the jormungar worm aoe attack. It's called "Burrow Attack" I believe ( Burrow Attack - Spell - World of Warcraft ) and it says it's used by all worms. Worms are considered exotic, so only BM can get them. I only said jormungar because that's the type of worm I tamed. Anyway, it's something to look into. Does great DPS, at least when I'm using it for PvE. I don't know how it would work in PvP. Also, when / if you decide to do a PvE BM CC, would you try and incorporate that as well? Would probably be good for both sides of the same coin maybe.

In PvP a spirit beast is often preferred for its ability to heal you as well as the nice DPS that ferocity pets do. Other options are a monkey and a spider (Silithid for BM).
Monkeys have an extra stun, which isn't that useful for a BM hunter (Much better for a marksmanship), and Spiders have a web, which is great against melee classes and Demolishers in some BG's.

The CC will (already does) Support Spirit beasts and Silithids (Silithids have the same web attack as spiders but with a different name, but they also have a buff that spiders dont have, this is why spiders aren't supported but Silithids are.)

I might add support for monkeys as well, should be relatively easy.

I'm not a fan of an AoE attack in PvP, there are far fewer situations where it's actually useful.

What comes to future support for any hunter spec, I won't be doing anything new until Mists. In mists we'll have to see which spec is best for PvE and that one will be the first one to get support. If other specs are suitable as well, ie. there's no huge difference in their damage output, other specs will most likely be supported as well.

What comes to PvP Specs in Mists I'll wait for a while for blizzard to do their buffing and nerfing of classes and balancing PvP, as it's most likely going to be horrible from the launch :P

Oh and if anyone here really wants a hunter spec I'm not supporting then they should consider making their own. You don't have to start from scratch you can use anyone elses as a basis for your own. If you need help with something you can PM me (I've made some room so you can actually contact me). Just remember, I'm in no way an expert in this and there are other people much more capable than me. I didn't know much about coding before I started working on these CC's. if you look at the code you'll find that it's not all that complicated after all and the site has great tutorials on how to get started :)

Ah, I see. I don't pvp much, so I wasn't really sure of what good PvP pets were. Thanks for the heads up though. Usually, the only reason I pvp is when I'm trying to get a better weapon that has an extremely low drop chance. Then I just farm honor and eventually buy the pvp version of what I'm looking for.

No BGBuddy support because no movement support. I want people to play themselves.

Anyway except the BM Hunter PvP Spec release today, everything seems to work, just gotta add optimal default settings and add a few extra options to some things. Testing it through a few battlegrounds now.

PvPBeast Beast Master Hunter Custom Class is now released, get it from the attachements on the main post or from the SVN.

Basically it does everything except:

Move, target, Use Tranquilizing shot (yet) or use flares.

The GUI has a few links to some talent builds (I recommend the Arena build) and other fun stuff. Recommended pets are Spirit Beasts or Silithids (good for some situations).

I'm going to update Marksman to the same standard later but for now I recommend everyone use Beast Mastery for PvP :)

Completely behind you dude with this PVP BM... its awsome.. 2nd dps on alteric valley and top for 2 warsongs... nice job dude!

Is it supposed to use spells for you? cause it uses a couple for me but it does not use any ability's to attack with

I take it macro support will not be implemented falldown?
On a side note, can't wait to try the BM PvP CC shortly :D

im serious, no need to be a smartass, does your class not support mounting if so that's all you need to say
From the first page almost at the top of the first post it says "
Supported on LazyRaider only"

Can you make an option for using Readiness, i prefer to choose when to use it. Cause the CC uses it when some abilities havent been used once.
