i know. but im asking if any 1 suceasfully recovered buy fillingout the formn provide the id

Yeah I about 15 SOR account banned today. I did transfer one toon off a account to another account and its still active. Guess I'll be staying away from them now lol

I have banned and not banned SoR accounts on the same Bnet account and the ones that got banned I was literally just asking for it. The others are good and still rocking. 2 banned and 3 running

Yeah, all my accounts were on different Bnet accounts. Lots of email addresses:)

Anyways, was a bit disappointed they were a banned as I wanted to do some work with ISBoxer. Oh well...

If you send a picture of your ID with a different name then the SoR accounts, the SoR accounts will be banned.

In my case the battlenet was in my name so I sent the correct ID, however it wasnt the name of the original (unmereged) wow account. Therefore Locked. But I doubt anyone will have the original owners ID and if they did, Blizz asked for it scanned hi-res on a copy of the days paper the day of the ticket so even if you have a copy of the original ID you are screwed.

Therefore if your SoR gets locked you are not going to get it back unless you are:
A.) the original owner of the unmerged account and
B.) the owner of the battlenet account and
C.) have government ID matching both A and B.
or are are very good forger.

You say if you send an ID with a different name the account will be banned, well if you dont send it you wont be able to play either so lose lose.

I will be going down the RAF + original key route from now on

Boof thanks for sharing your experiences. You are totally correct. I was in the exact same position as you and decided to reactivate an old legit account and it didn't take too long to get a toon back to 85 with some dungeon boosting and kick's questing.

I will be certainly staying away from sor accounts from now on.

They maybe looking at SoR accounts now, But I say the best way to keep a SoR account when buying it is a whole new battlenet account + mac address with a V.P.N and VP Box for each account. And ive forged allot of ID's with WoW :)

I have over 15 SoR accounts, And never been banned. Btw never merge more then 1 SoR Account into 1 Battlenet account :)

so whats a safe way to merge sor account and not get banned. due to

Due to recent activity involving the account (XXXXXXXX), we will require the Account Recovery Form (see below) for security purposes. The account is currently disabled, so that you can regain sole and secure access. If you use a credit card to subscribe, it has been removed so you are not charged while the account is disabled. Please keep this message until you have regained account access.

blablabla

i should. create a brand new battle.net account with my name and all other infos. right?
and then merge it?

so yet again greed makes wonders to blizzard games.

Now SoR goes down the drain.

This.
Back in the days, it was customary to ask for IDs along with buying a used account. Although laking that, I had on occasion to Photoshop out a few passports  (they never asked for ? the days paper ?).
Now I guess it would be easier, with all the pre-packaged fake ID PSDs left around the web.

I'm curious though, what's the best deal for acquiring an account / keys after SoR ?

I made a thread 2hous ago asking this: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...eports/66068-acount-ban-issue.html#post677381

(see the thread above to see what im talking about)

One of those accounts is SoR other is my Main acc.

My SoR acc has diferent names on both (Bnet have 1 name and original wow acc owner has other ) Like you guys have
My main acc is also in the same situation, but, is merged since 2009 +/-, and the original owner is my girlfriend brother witch has a dif name from mine.
Never had any trouble with my main acc witch i use for a long time everyday.(never bot/hack with it)

Anyway
My guess in this situation with SoR acc is..
These SoR acc witch sell from11/14? outhere are relative new on market, which reminds me the account leak that Activision had some timr ago:http://eu.blizzard.com/en-gb/securityupdate.html
Why SoR acconts are looked? My guess is, when you merge it with Bnet that you created, it sends an email to the owner (also to your new Bn email), maybe some old users try to retrive them and as a result accounts get locked (not banned).
This is my guess cuz i already retrived accounts and it happened the same, plus my original has a dif name and its still running (and keep it going i hope).
This is humble opinion, not sure if its true or not.

I think your right. I guarantee an email goes out to the original Email and if they have any interest in WOW left at all there gonna fight. If not theyll delete the email and youll roll on with an SOR account.

i think its because blizzard is aware of poeple buying unmerge wow account to BOT.
so blizzard knows that. thats why they just banns all once u merge it. and want your id. because they know that ur not the orginal owner of the account.
unless the name on the bnet is same as the unmerge wow account name. then they might not lock it. but we don't know.

BTW. how can we know the name on a unmerge wow account?

I am very curious, are our friends with banned SoR Accounts from US or EU? I am pretty definite US is kinda more strict?

I dont know wtf you guys are on about...Ive had 5 SoR Accounts for over 2 years and its not new to selling SoR accounts, its been out ever since they released SoR. My 5 SoR accounts have been running ever since they released it and I did buy them also, It all comes down to PLAYER REPORT or ACTING LIKE A BOT...

And. how to know the name if a unmerged SoR account you can login too it with out bnet at the wow site but you can only find out the first name and first letter of the last
