Botting with merged account

Hi i was wondering would it be completely safe, for my main account. If i bought a new wow to my bnet and used it to bot some achievements.
i also wouldn't trade any other items than looms and buy pets/mounts with the gold i would receive. And if i get banned on the account would the achievements still be there?

I'm also really interested in knowing this.
I got HB the other day and I want to have an acc just for botting.
I got 3 accounts connected to my b.net, only 1 of them I have used since wrath.
So if I open up one of the inactive accounts and bot on it, would my main account get banned too, being they are on the same b.net account. Or should I just buy a new wow acc on a new b.net acc?

I'm currently botting in this manner and have been doing so for quite a while.
Previously I have recieved a 72h ban on the botting account, without any harm done to my main account.
Not sure if botting on a different acc within the same b.net is safe though.
