Diablo III Players Banned for Botting - Forums - Diablo III

How does one justify if he/she is botting? I mean, I could play for 12 hours for weeks not saying that would be a good thing but its possible so I am just guessing I would eventually get a ban hammer dropped on my head?

While I'm not about to reveal how we identify exploitative behavior in Diablo III (and understandably so), "playing a lot" is not criteria enough to merit an account action for botting.

So 24/7 does not matter. DemonBuddy is detectable in other ways..

DemonBuddy is detectable in other ways? no kidding? Could it be that it uses the same path? Could it be killing the same mobs? Could it be us talking about it on a fourm? could bliz be takeing profiles and finding who follows it? Could it be that they are selling the foil hats we use?

Christ, if your so damn worried about getting banned, dont fucking bot. D3 has no sub fees, they dont care how hard/many people they ban. People will go buy another account. I would think 96 posts you would understand that,

No, hes just saying that playing alot isnt enough to ban someone right away, but he doesnt say that it isnt considered as one of several variables to determine if account is botting

This. Interpretting the blue's statement to mean 24/7 doesn't matter is a bit dense.

Only one that knows how they find who to ban is bliz.

it doesnt mean they dont take it into consideration, just means they dont ban someone just coz he has a lot of play time.

Exactly what the blue post said. Thanks.

*hah* they won't reveal it because it's not allowed to sniffle in our systems... :/

Apparently it was a Trojan that caused the whole problem ... according watching a stream of a guy ... someone boting put a trojan virus in DB which caused everything to be used with the warden came out and for good ... that's why today blew everything. It is the first time that I'd like to say "the problem we had with the virus they're giving all accounts" but it is more than obvious that it is a dream, the moment I stop boting, one thing that I banned for use an external program and another by a virus that ate and went all to hell ... HB is the best bot I saw in my life, but the DB is far from satisfactory.
