Botting Setup for D3

Hey all,

I want to configure a new Pc for Running 12 Sessions of diablo 3 smoothly... Anybody has advises for me? I have 1500? for this setup.

CPU 6-8 cores 3Ghz+
MB - mostly no matter
VIDEO - 3Gb VRAM (Chip/SLI/CF - no matter)
RAM - 24Gb+
HDD - depends of sytem setup (SandBox - 15Gb for all D3 or ~120Gb for 12 D3) At any case SSD Raid prefer.

I would go with a 6 core 3Ghz+
MB - Compatible with your 6core!
Video - 2-4GB dedicated ram, doesn't really matter what as long as it is supported by D3. I'd recommend cross-firing NVIDIA cards.
RAM - Seeing as my three bots are using 5g, you'd need at least 20GB. I'd say 24GB would be a safe spot, and you'd definitely want triple channel.
PSU - Depends on what CPU you get.

The most important thing is going to be RAM. You'll want low latency high bandwidth RAM. that many copies of diablo is going to slow your RAM down like a hard drive.

I'm thinking if he got a SSD it would be pretty beneficial. 8GB of ram, 12 clients (if he uses the multiple folders method, if not then really no big deal at all!) 12x8 = 96GB SSD

Might want to invest in a SSD
