Would spoofing your ip address or using a proxy server while botting, help at all in not getting caught?

If you're currently using a chinese IP address it might, else I'd say no. ;)
 
They can't see IP? lol I was pretty sure they could..

On a moar seriuz note, can u tell me if u select "dont always ask on login" as authenticator option why u have to type it in when u log on from a different ip?
 
I had 4 accounts last week, and they all got banned almost at the same exact time.. So I am definitely sure they ban by IP.

If anyone can help and direct me into how to spoof my ip address without messing with the router settings (since I am wirelessly connected to it).

I would much appreciate it :D

You had DB bots get banned? Or were you using something else?

If you used hacks I bet they'll check your IP for similar usage (amount of online hours and such) at the same time as banning one of your accounts.

Why would IP matter? They can still see what account you're on so they'll just ban that. Unless I am missing something here...?

I never used any hacks, just hellbuddy bot on the 4 accounts that got banned.

Why would IP matter? They can still see what account you're on so they'll just ban that. Unless I am missing something here...?

IP would matter because I believe they are able to search for your IP address and can see what accounts that the IP address is on. They would not be able to see what account I am on if I spoof my IP. But I am not sure, that's why I made this thread to get some clarification.

I was a user of hellbuddy, while all those people got banned I was still running my bots i am always behind a diff ip per client. I do it for added protections Not to mention you can do other things when you have a diff ip. people should think out of the box.
