botting millionaire?

I happened to know some one who owns gold farm with 80 computers and run 7-10 bots on each computer. He made around 200K US dollar in the first 2 month. Thats 1.3 million Chinese yuan.

80 computers, for each computer to be able to handle 7-10 bots he'd have to spend at least $1000 on them or so, each, so he spent $80,000 on computers + monitors/etc, $50k on D3 copies, and had them all leveled? Plus the software cost? Jesus christ he already sounds loaded as fuck, that's a $150k or so investment, what's he doing botting lol

I know a guy who knows a girl whose boyfriend's cousin's grandma's auntie from Scotland runs a bot farm and she made 20 billion first week of Diablo 3. True story.

20 billion gold or pesos? that's important. pesos is the Scottish currency right?

He's been botting for years, all the way back to Wow.

well i dont want to argue whether its a lie or not, BUT:

normally you dont build it up like this. you start with 1 or 2 pcs, the money you make you directly invest into next pc (a bit you let for living etc) and so on and so on. normal investment and getting bigger chain. the more pcs you have the faster gets your income rate and the faster you can keep on expanding (mathematically its exponential growth)

we gonna make a lot of money once diablo 4 or another blizzard mmo like wow is coming out:cool:

if that's the case then he basically dedicates most of his time for this and won't see income for about a year.

I`m happy i made over 3k since rmah is out by farming manually, sniping and crafting
Sadly the game is so boring i started botting because i cant afford losing the extra income D3 has been in these past months...i cant/will never quit this game aslong as its making some money

Yeah, I started botting WoW to make some gold for some cool mounts and GDKP runs to improve my toon's gear and to get some achieves happening, like The Insane title. Tried a bit of Pandaland recently, and it's the same old boring shit.

Then I started botting D3 to get some gold for my toon to buy cool gear and kill some epic Diablo bosses on Inferno.

Now I don't play D3, but I run a couple of bots for shits and giggles and because my PC is always on while I'm awake for media serving / downloading and made a few bucks off the RMAH to buy me a few dinners.

Now, I've got my Assassin's Creed III Digital Deluxe paid for by my Barb, thank you Barb!

I have not made a million $ yet, if I would, I'd retire from my day job.

You have to remember that gold selling didn't start with WoW, Diablo, or even Everquest. Gold selling was going on way back in the Ultima Online days, which came out something like 20 years ago. People that got in on the ground floor of MMORPG botting/gold selling and have been doing it ever since have very likely made tons.
