Botting in WOD for Gold!

Will gathering be as good to bot in WOD as in other expansions.

Before I was pulling in decent amount of gold flying around in MOP and Cata, but will it be worth it with ground mounts in WOD, or is there another way to farm gold safely?

its like every other expansion.. flying will be back in the first major update after release..

farming will always be profitable.

Well why wouldn't it be as good? You may get a lower nodes per hour, but as everyone else is also on ground mount it will even out. As prices will just go up per node due to lower nodes per hour? You see?
 
I hope we get some good phasing action in the starting zones. When MoP launched, my farmer leveled to 90 on ground mount via Gatherbuddy in a small phased area so nobody could see me, I made 1m gold within the first month with just blacksmithing and inscription. And that was when people hit 90 and started to farm on flying mounts so the prices went down really fast. Now that everyone is going to groundfarm for months, prices are expected to be high and stable.
 
What Characters you do think are going to be the best farmers now, paladins/DK's or druids. Might go buy 3 of them that include a level 90, and all the expansions

Paladins and DK's are faster flying and mount speeds.
The druid however I believe can gather without dismounting from flight form. So you gain time from there. I suggest Tauren Druid, faster herb gathering and no dismounting inbetween. Just make sure to set HB to use Flightform in settings.

But since they're wont be flying at beginning of xpac i might go with DK/Paladin.

Is it easy to get banned now a days? Havnt botted for a year basically, and should I had my IP or whocares with only 3 accounts?

The new way for min/max gold farming is with 5+ alts doing garrison combo farming. Gathering will be ok for the lazy but the most profit will come from adding in all your alts for maximizing profit before the casuals flood it all in 2-3 months after release.

Problem is leveling those alts to 100 and gerring exalted rep for Tier3 garrison buildings

I have a main that i raid on that i will be spending most of my time. So no time left to level alts. Unless some HB leveling profiles get available soon.

What do you mean getting exalted rep for T3 buildings? T3 buildings blueprints come from unlocking an achievement for that building. The only building that requires rep is the Trading Post at this point. All the rest is through either a series of work orders requires or quests.
Besides that, once you unlocked an achievement for a T3 building on 1 character, it's account wide... T1 and T2 are character specific, not T3 :)

Anyways, alts will be the way to go indeed. Garrisons will earn you a lot of money if you know how to play around with them. There are several guides up on mmo-champ on what the best build would be for gold makers with alts.

DK/Paladin. Level 1 stables in your Garrison allows to interact with objects in Draenor without dismounting.

So maybe you have missed the news, that raiding will be available 3 weeks after WOD Launch, so you have plenty of weeks, not even days to level alts and farm reputations etc.

Assuming, you can ding 100 on a char in 2 days, it would not be an issue.

Actually that's tier 2 ability for Stables. Tier 1 is the capture and training of special mounts. Though yeah, that would be handy for farming :)

According to wowhead, the no dismount perk is level 1 stables, level 2 is no daze while mounted.

"Stables 1 Enables the capture and training of special mounts on Draenor. Also allows you remain mounted while interacting with objects in outdoor Draenor zones."
 
Will low level mats like ore and cloth from mop, cata etc. will still have a value with WoD or u think it will be completely useless? I dont know much abt garrisons..
 
Low level mats are becoming redundant, as you can level more professions using just mop/wod stuff now.
