Seriously.. I can't even play anymore. I have no real passion to. I just like to raid hassle-free and what not. Every since getting banned for "being logged on too long" I haven't been farming. WoW is pointless now.
 
too true! i usually run HB combat routines so i can maximize healing while paying attention to mechanics. without it, 1 will suffer and everyone will die. i swear, you need ADHD to play wow nowadays....sorry. saw a squirrel! :)
 
I HAVE ADHD!! and I still find it so tedious that I can barely play without a bot. :D Truth be told, I have started selling off all my extra accounts and if Draenor doesn't gain my interest back, I may be done for good. The good ole days seem gone for me. :(
 
It's the opposite for me, if it wasn't for Honorbuddy I don't think I'd play anymore. The community on my server is crap; for the most part you're either in a dedicated schedule raiding guild or you're in one of the eighty million 1 man guilds with alts. There's not much for small social groups that do stuff together anymore, so I level alts.
 
Botting put the excitement back in WoW for me. :) it is also an opportunity to take back some of the cash I've spent on it over the last ten years. :cool: For me, the game died together with Arthas in WotLK.

This because it's exactly how this game feels. That aside I'm pretty sure you have more time with the bot, so it really hasn't taken anything away. I've been able to catch up on my tv shows etc... I no longer have to spend countless hours resource farming just for a little bit of gold. Like all things in life it's just finding what to do with the spare time you're given ;)
 
Fot me it was the opposite, i was really tired of smashing buttons frenetically and all the anxiety of a heroic raid.. i would have left Wow at Cataclysm.
But here i am, thanks to honorbuddy.

I completely agree. During this recent downtime for patch 6.0, I don't even want to log in. Honestly, I am not good enough to play WoW and offer any reasonable DPS or Heals without HB anyways. I think the reason Blizzard doesn't send the big attack dogs after Bossland is simply because HB brings in money for Blizz.
 
I learned to play my toons the first time through, then they changed a bunch of stuff and I learned to play them all again. Since then they have changed several more times and I don't care enough to relearn how to play them all again. Thats why I bot - let the CR Developers that want to do this learn and program how to make it work and I'll just let them mash the buttons for me. But then I'm not doing this to amass tons of gold or make cash... I'm just a LAZY raider :)

That's exactly what I am saying. Botting has ruined the non-botting version of WoW. Now I can only play with a bot. It's like heroin god damnit!
 
LMAO tried 3 different raids today and it was an epic fail......must be a lot of people that use bots or there has been some extreme changes in the game. I really have no urge to log in, no raids nothing else worth doin right now
 
There were big changes to healing and definitely a bit to tanking. Probably a heavy factor.
 
Everything has been pretty easy after the patch to be honest, I mean raid wise it's a cakewalk.

WoW is truly one the worst games available today when it comes to gameplay or lack thereof would be more accurate. The combat is terrible. The game truly takes no skill to play, especially in PvP where it's essentially a math problem. You're either on the better side or you're not. Without something casting all the spells and abilities for me, no way I would play. If I liked playing WoW without a bot then I just got type up essays and blog post all day since your fingers are LITERALLY doing the same thing.

However, when it comes to content WoW takes the cake. I look forward to playing WoD for a month or so then quitting. Then coming back next expansion and still be befuddled that people had been playing this whole time??? For what, so your armor would be +4 instead of +3? l

Botting takes away the drudgery of repetitiveness of game; I definitely wouldn't waste my time if the option wasn't available.
 
i also have to agree,.. without honorbuddy, i wouldnt play WoW anymore.
 
I've been playing my Warlock on Affliction and my Monk Healer without HB since patch 6.0.2 Either way, no one died. Aaaaaand my dps was where it always is with HB first or second in my raid. Though that's everyone relearning their class.
