My experience in gold selling is, that the best way is always to go for private buyers. If you don't have anyone buying gold just keep it, or, if you need the cash then sell it to gold buying websites.

The gold market is full of people selling gold so why should people buy gold from you and not head over to cheap chinese websites? That is the most asked question i am asked and you just have to reply with good reasons like:
- i am not farming 24/7
- no chinese/vietnam ip's
- less account risk
- ...
that's why a lot of people are willing to pay a bit more for gold cause they care a lot of their main accounts.
The most asked question from a gold farmer is how do i get in contact with possible buyers. This part is a bit tricky as you cannot write down "/2 hey guys i'm selling gold *yay*" as this would result in a ban.
- be informed about the market and gold prices
- If you are a wow player yourself (not only farming gold) tell your guildmates via forum, teamspeak that you sell gold.
- Create an account at big wow communities (not with your original char name^^) and put something in your signature like "selling cheap gold on server xyz". Just make posts in any possible different threads you find in each community and it won't take long to be recognized.
- Hold your customers! Create a customer friendly system. For example i have different customer categories for discounts. If someone buys regularly he gets a discount. People will always need gold so if they know they get a constant discount they will come back and buy again.
- Give bigger discounts the more bigger the amount of gold is. For example i have a few guilds that buy large gold amounts(500.000+) regularly, therefore they get a high discount. They won't get so much gold cheaper anywhere that's why the always come back.
And the last point is the next step to do the whole thing commercial. Depending on laws in your country, i life in germany and it is allowed to sell virtual online currency, create a business.
- Get together with a few friends, get lifetime acc's + 3 Bots each and start farming.
- Create a Website where users can track/add orders (or just a private page to have an overview for yourself)
- Do this a few months, if you have customers that regularly buy gold enlarge your business (another lifetime acc + 3 chars for everyone)
