its about 200-300 doll from 17 bots
and electricity.. well its at last 1 plus of live in russia

Not really that they made it bad...it's that the played this smart. People will ultimately always try to sell stuff from games, so why not make it legal and profit from it? Now all the sales go through them, they take a chunk of the sale, and they drive prices down far enough that most people get discouraged anyway. I actually think Blizzard is brilliant with this move. I'm only surprised they didn't add this to WoW.

Managed to get 1xx EUR in June from 4x barbs that were Paragon 0 at the begining of the month.
If i take the second half of the June when they were all P100. Then the monthly average is 2** EUR for 4 bots.

May was 3x better ^^

Right now in July i know i already have 3 items on the RMAH for which i should net around 80-100 EUR.

Sold some crit mempos and other trifecta rings to get me here. I sell gold for less than 15 EUR / 1b with gems.
Barbs got 3 legends per hour in the 100-300h log time.

I see alot of you guys complaining regarding electricity cost. How much is that in US?
In EU i pay around 10-15 EUR/mo for 1 PC running 24/7 with 4 bots and i think it has 450 W PSU.

I pay 60 EUR/mo for 1 PC running 24/7 using 300W... and I live in Denmark.
 
If we assume 1 account = 1 bot
and 18m/day from gold and 12m/day from drops totalling 30m/day per 1 character (I read that somewhere) and the price (today it's 2.18$/100m) and 33.16Euro per D3 key (again, read that somewhere - the d3 keys comparison) we can conclude that each bot will net itself (assuming 1.3023 ratio - today's) in:
1.3023 * 33.16 / ( 2.18 $ * 30/100 ) = 66.03 days.

If we add 120m gear (just for math's sake) it gives you nice and round 70 days to just make it even. That assumes botting 24/7.

Now, even if we assume that each bot lives 5 months before getting banned (24/7 botting) then the profit - hard costs - electricity = none?

I don't know how people came up with this numbers. But you get more from items than gold, so fuck gold. Picked up gold is probably like 10-20% of all income.

I've made between 100-200 EUR in June with 4 bots (they were P100 in the second half of the month) This month covered all costs.
And i already have nearly 200 EUR this month and still 1b to sell + 2x 20is EUR items.
Guess i am lucky with drops. But this is nothing compared to what you could do with 10 bots few months back. 4 figures / month.

Gear was 250m now its worth even less. Probably 150m. 3 legs per hour.
 
damn, you eu guys have it rough on electricity cost.

I have a 2100 sq ft 2 story house with 4 comps running 30 clients + ps3/360 kids are on all the time + cooking + washing/drying clothes + central heat/air + lights + hotwater heater and my Electric bill averages $200/month. ($120-150 in fall/spring and 220-300 in summer/winter).

I also live near 2 nuclear plants and a hydroelectric tho. So I guess I'm lucky in that aspect.

Yes, you are lucky with drops.
Last piece of gear i've sold for decent $ (15EUR) - in April. Since then every month my income just diminishes at a steady rate. In May i've
made 110eur from 5 bots (100par) in June - just 68. Gold selling made about half of than sum. This month it will be around 30-40, because gold isn't selling at RMAH anymore (it's coming back all the time after 36h) and the only items sold are for 0.5-1.5 eur net. 5 bots paragon 100, 24/7.

gold is not that important anymore, what are your legs per hour in full stats log? Yeah i guess i was lucky, got 4x crit mempos in 10 days :) I was mostly selling 10-20 EUR items on the RMAH. If they were below that i sold them for gold then bought gems with that gold and sold them for 15 ?/b after all fees. Its something :)
