Budget Demon Hunter Champion Farming Act 3 & Botting 101 (DH)
Hey guys so the first time I came here i found it pretty hard to get my bot started, having experienced that i figured i would type out a complete guide along with gear, setting up the bot etc etc for the benefit of any new botters and any botters out there who want to bot on a demon hunter. If you know how to DL the files and all that then scroll down to where it says Settings if you know all that too then just go ahead to where it says Demon Hunter.
Setting up your Bot
Always make sure you have the latest version
Stable version : updates.buddyauth.com/?dev=yerp
Beta Version
A quick note here, although the beta version suggests that you dont use it with plugins, i have used it with plugins in the past to great effect, BUT if it doesn't work with plugins; well i guess you'll know why
Now once you have downloaded the latest bot file, you want to extract it.
For those of you that know how to extract, you may skip this paragraph and for those of you that dont; keep reading. To extract said file you will need an archiving program, i find WinRAR to my liking,
www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0 to download said program. Once youve installed WinRAR go ahead to the downloaded Demonbuddy Bot file, Right click on it and say "Extract to Demonbuddy 1.0.xxxx.xxx"
Once you've done that a folder should appear next to the Downloaded Demonbuddy file. Open this folder and inside it should look somewhat like the following:
One last thing you need to do is create a new folder within the demonbuddy folder and name it "Plugins"
Now that you have the Bot lets go ahead and get ourselves a profile and the respective plugins. Now for the purpose of this Guide i will be using an Act III profile and its corresponding required plugins.
Profile
[A3 - Inferno] Champion Hunting
Now if you notice on this page the "Required Plugins" subheading and it asks you get:
Radsatom - Sign up if you have to its free
Giles Trinity
Now when you download these they will once again be in the form of Archive or Zip files and you will have to extract them. The profile folder you can leave anywhere you want, however as a rule of thumb and just to make my computer look cleaner i usually dump the profile into the same folder as demon buddy.
Once you have extracted the Plugins (radsatom and Giles) open the corresponding folders that contain the plugins. You will notice that there is folder after folder after folder.
For example i think randastom has a folder called "archonic xxx" and inside that another folder called "archonic xxx" and inside that another folder called "radsatom" and inside that last folder you'll see a bunch of files. Now what you NEED is this last FOLDER. IE the folder that contains all the files.
These folders that contain the files is what you will need to put into the folder you created called "Plugins" within the demonbuddy folder.
Now one last step we need to do before we are good to go. Giles requires that you take the blank GilesBlankCombatRoutine.zip, extract it and put that inside the "Routines" folder within demon buddy.
All files for your bot are finally set
Run your bot, you will be prompted to enter your cd key which you can copy paste in or you youve memorized it (holy shit) go for it.
Now once the bot is running there are 4 tabs at the top, Main, Info Dumping, Settings and Plugins.
Our main focus will be the last two tabs I.E. Settings and Plugins.
Settings
Loot/kill radius -untouched
Wait time - 120 - 300 is good id say (imitates pee break, water break, ah break and or a snack break)
Repair Durability - untouched
Monster Power - 1 or 2 (doesnt matter how godlike your char is)
Inactivity time - change this to 0
Edit Protected bag slots - i recommend you leave your inventory empty except for potions
Death handling - the profile requires you leave this on "ignore" but always follow what your profile asks you to do
Protected stash page - up to you
Full inventory handling - again up to you
(if i didn't mention anything else leave it at default value)
Plugins
Giles - under the Combat Tab and under the Misc Sub-tab: UNCHECK Allow out-of-combat Movement Powers
You can leave everything else on default settings
Radsatom - Death Handling : Next profile - change this to 4, Leave Game 5 Inactivity timer - 3 mins
Andddd your bot is now Set Up. You can tweak any of the above settings as you see fit.

Hung Arrow - SoT - my crits at 41%
Ele Arrow - NT - Life leach
SP - Gloom - More Life Leach
FoK - HoK - Aoe dmg for when you get surrounded
Prep - BP - More Glooms!
RoV - Dark Cloud - Aoe dmg helps when your surrounded plus its good Life leach too
Vengeance - Makes Health Globes that much better
Night Stalker - If you have high Crit this will give you more Glooms
Archery - Straight up dmg boost
MP 1/2 Stats:
52 k hp
450 AR
41% crit
110 k dps
3.5k armor
Crit Dmg - 350%
Life Leach 2.6%
LoH - 1400
1.68 APS - Higher APS means you life leach faster
21% Move Speed
MP 1 - Rate & Yield
A few of you wanted to know my yield, i bot about 8 - 12 hours a day (mostly when i goto bed) and i get anywhere from 2 - 15 ish Legendaries a night (MP1). This along with any good Yellows i find yields me anywhere from 50 - 100 mill a week.
My bots rate:
1 game/ ~35 Mins
~1 death per hour (mostly 0 though, that occasional freak death
sigh)
~17 mill XP per hour
~ 300k Gold per hour
MP 3 Stats:
85 k hp
650 AR
36% crit
75 k dps
3.5k armor
Crit Dmg - 300%
Life Leach 2.6%
LoH - 1400
1.68 APS - Higher APS means you life leach faster
21% Move Speed
0-3 deaths per hour, about 1.25 hours per Act III run, 10-13 mill XP/H and same item yield as MP1
Weapon
You will need a weapon with the following affixes
dmg anything over 1 k should do
Important Descending Order
LoH - 800 +
Life Steal - 2.5% +
Dext 100 +
Socket
Crit Dmg
Boots/Pants/bracers/chest : You want to work towards 25% MS (move in between packs faster)
Boots : Almost any boots can roll this affix
Pants : Innas Temperance
Bracers : Lecuni Prowlers
Chest: Tyrael's Might
You want LOH on any item you can get ie weapon, neck and rings
Stats youre looking for
Dexterity
Vitality
All resist
% Life
(any sort of CC you can get such as freeze, slow, fear, knock back and etc are greatly helpful)
Helmet
Anything with some or all of the above stats + a socket would be helpful
Helm Socket:
% Health if you are dying too much
+ Magic Find for better loots
+ XP gem for faster lvling
I tend to go with the + mf (paragon levels will come and im in no rush)
Follower
Templar for more MF
Intervene
Intimidate
Charge
Guardian
Enchantress if you dont need the MF
Forceful Push
Powered Armor
Erosion
Focused Mind
Also if you give your enchantress a Maximus its VERY VERY effective

Also if you can get + pick up radius it will help ALOT, try to keep this number around 10 though, any larger and your bot might pick up globes when not needed.
