I set the toon to manually and place it infront of a fishable spot, the toon mount up and move away so I have to stop it.

The only place I got it to stay was outside the "inn" in Suramar.

Screenshot your settings for Fishing Placement + attach the log.
The only i can thing of - your bag were too full so it need to sell or your toon require repair.

Also be aware - if there is a bad spot - thre is no fish in water "water to shallow" bot will stop fishing and will move to Logout engine according settings.

I just tried to move tha character to another spot in the same area and then it worked. It seams that it is a little "sensitive" to placing. Anyway thanks for the quick response. I will post logs an pictures if it happens again.

I am looking for the ability to fish up drowned mana on the island near dalaran. Is that something this bot can do? If so how would I do it?

Put toon at this lake and set manual fishing. Search for group which do fishing there in group finder and join it.

Second of all, I'm a fool.

I can set up the @FishingMaster bot like that. But I don't see any of the options for questing for the artifact rod or for using cooking...what am I missing?

You do not need any particular settings, just set it fish in zone, which have rare fish you need to catch (http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=10596) - it will catch all for you.
When you done achievement for rare fishes, you will need to do one simple quest to kill one mob and you will get artifact. Usually it takes several days to get artifact.
