The fact that you think someone would troll about something as serious as this is beyond sickening.

Dude - we spent many hours chatting and debating some great topics. I will sorely miss those moments that we have shared. I have dropped a tear today learning of your passing. We spoke not even two weeks ago and you were just a fraction of the man I use to hear online. You still had your wit about you and your charming personality and that is why so many of us have admired and adored you. My thoughts go out to Tammy and the rest of your family in this time of sadness. May you fly high brother and find some poor innocent sucker to have a bird poop on their head! I can see you doing such things!

Missing you already and your absence is greatly felt.

A sad time for the HB community as it has lost a great profile writer. Condelences to the family and R.I.P Botanist!
 
It amazes me that so many people around the world were touched by his life through this community. It is truly astonishing that a programmer writing for an illicit botbase could garner this much admiration. It really does speak volumes of the man behind the forum tag. Botanist will forever be remembered by a vast majority of the community, and for those who do not know him yet, they will stumble onto his name through tales or old scripts and will learn of his legendary status in our community.
 
An incredible generous man, who helped anyone in this Honorbuddy community who contacted him, within minutes. So extremely polite to call "What can I do for you Sir", I can imagine it must have been an endless amount of hours he put into by supporting those who needed help with either his profiles OR the Honorbuddy bot in general - and than also the endless of hours on top of that for writing all the profiles he made, and this all while he was extremely ill, in pain and fighting against a horrible disease. He was extremely dedicated and passionate on what he was doing and I will greatly miss him.

Please be well above my dear friend and thank you so much for getting to know you.

A most honest R.I.P.

For 2 years, he helped me whenever he can, and his payment was a simple "thank you".

May his soul rest in peace. "Thank you" one last time..
 
I am not sure how we can go about this, or if its allowed to be discussed on the forums, but who ever has access to his skype account is trying to raise money for a cool tombstone with his Wow and HB information on it. If anyone on the forum has a connection to his family or friends IRL send me a PM and I would like to help facilitate this.
 
Botanist was one of the best people i've ever known. I'll miss you pal.
 
Im very sorry to hear this. Helped me a bunch with no request for anything in return. I hope he is in a better place.
 
RIP Botanist. You was an amazing person. We shared the last year together farming gold as a team and I will miss the long Skype talks we had. Thanks for everything you done for the community and as a person for myself. I hope your wife Tammy is doing ok haven't talked to her in a few days. You are in a better place now buddy and I know your no longer in pain. You put up one hell of a fight! But god had other plans for you. I will see you on the other side my friend. I will keep these profiles that you have given to me and update them as needed to keep things rolling.
