I am posting this here and not in the Support Forum because up until this point the devs have been no help to me at all, so I am asking the community because it is likely that someone else has faced this same problem. Pretty much I can bot just fine with monitors turned on (I dual screen on desktop) but once I turn them off the bot just stops working. Is there a windows 7 setting or display setting to fix this, how/do you all bot with the screen turned off?

use support issues section providing your log file,it has nothing to do with monitors tho

I have used the support forum and you have been no help to me so I am googling and posting here asking the community, as I mentioned above. People have had similar occurrences in what I've seen via google but it seems to pertain only to laptops.
I believe it has something to do with my resolution settings since my screens are different sizes and when I turn them off the resolution adjusts to an unknown size (considering I can't see it).
I noticed this lastnight when I turned off the big one and D3 encountered an unsupported graphics error while the windowed mode screen transferred over to the smaller one, I believe this is due to the D3 window being too small upon transferring over since it went from big screen to little screen.

hi,
I understand why you feel upset but you don't give any details.
No info about your PC's configuration: desktop or laptop ? hardware ?
No test with one monitor
Just guesses here...
Did you monitor your CPU activity ? GPU activity ?

Good luck

No problem with mine.. I guess your power settings need to be checked. make sure you have disabled hibernation etc...

as you are talking about a laptop I would expect that your laptop is going into hibernation or at least going into low power settings which in effect closes your programs or makes it impossible for them to run in background due to minimal cpu usage.

Check your power settings is the best advice anyone can give you

When you run this game/bot, make sure that your computer should be ON all the time. DO NOT enable the sleep mode.
Try this: 1)control panel 2)power options 3)click on "Choose to turn off the display". when you see "Put the computer the sleep" you should choose "never."
hope this helps.

Desktop is specified in the topic AND the post...
What info do you need about my hardware? Its an ibuypower prebuilt gaming pc, 8gb ram and 6 processors, it has no problem running the bot and game (uses about 12-17%cpu and 40-50% ram), bot just unsyncs when the monitor is turned off.
I have not done a one monitor test but this just occurred to me lastnight/ this morning.
Its a desktop with no powersaving settings set, no screensaver, no sleep mode, no hibernation (if any of these were factors wouldnt they still occur regardless if i turned off the monotor or not anyways...?)

Please actually read the topic/ posts before you reply, thanks.

The way I see it, your desktop doesn't know if your monitor is off or on. I used to run a botting computer with no monitor at all so it's difficult to understand your issue. I use win7 as well, no switches or special settings, I just reach over and turn off the monitor with the switch on the front of the monitor. I suspect you have some other issue and suggest that you re read Tonys' post..
Hope this helps..

If you only turn off your monitor it shouldn't have any difference....

Try to leave it on for few hours and see if your bot stops.....

If yes.. then deal with the problem...

If not.. check your motherboard / vga card to see if they have some sort of "intellegent auto power saving" or similar thing enabled.

Just ran bot for 9 hours while I was at work with the main monitor on, no issues. The moment I turn the monitors off the bot de-syncs with diablo 3, it's happened several night and I JUST realized that turning off the monitors was the cause.
I have an AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series gfx card with drivers fully updated, in the AMD Catalyst Control Panel for the powersaving options are also set to Never put the computer to sleep, and Never turn off display. Will look into setting further now that I have some more time.

just for the records

your thread under support is closed now
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/demonbuddy-support/194232-bot-crashing.html

i tried to help you and check all the possible issues, meanwhile we tried to re-produce your issue on our machines but we couldnt
and finally i suggested to try our beta build

imo its has to do with your setup/end but you are free to get support from the community :)

The thread was pointless anyways.
I'm still looking for possible solutions if anyone else has encountered something similar.

What kind of connectors do you use on your monitors ? what connectors on your GC ? What kind of cables ?

Westinghouse TV on HDMI, Acer Monitor on DVI-I Dual Link. Same for GC, respectively (HDMI to HDMI, VGA to VGA).
Not sure what you mean by kinda of cables...

Using a connector does not mean you use the correct cable.
Mixing digital and analogic outputs on your GC could generate your problem.
Check out on google about this problem, it might help.

Just a quick google search of my gfx card:Can an HDTV be one of the displays in an AMD Eyefinity technology setup?
States that hdtv CAN connect via hdmi and pc monitor via other ports
I will look into this further when i get a chance off work, might not be able to til tomorrow evening..

Looking in the wrong direction !
Try with both digital outputs. This means you have to connect to your monitor with HDMi or DVi or Display Port.

PS: you don't have to quote the messages ;)

Yeah, that last reply was on a tablet so I was fairly limited..
But after I sent that I realized you may have meant the DVI-I or -D, which I saw on the AMD site mentioning analog and digital.
And NOW that I actually looked I just realized, might be a cable issue. Cable looks like DVI-D single link on both ends, but DVI-D dual link port on Acer monitor end and DVI-I Dual link on pc end. Do they make DVI-I to DVI-D cables, or would a DVI-D dual link suffice you think?
Would that really be messing with bot though? Either way I guess it's a start, unfortunately I likely wont be able to purchase a new cable until this weekend with xmas and all!
Also to mention, the gfx card has the DVI port next to the HDMI port which are the 2 I use (plus 2 other smaller ports which I cannot identify), but then another DVI port below but I don't think the bottom port worked for dual screen setup.
