[Bot] Salesman - a very powerful and easy to use AH bot

I have fixed the posting problem. But guys.. Please use the contact author form on my website. It's not allowed to talk about it here because of forum rules.. I also check my mail my often than this thread.
 
I am having problems with this Lite version. I am setting up the items and their stack sizes and minimum prices and all that. But with some of my items it is ignoring the other auctions people have posted and just posts my item for the "fallback" price without undercutting anybody else or anything. It only happens with SOME items though not all. All my addons are turned off. Please help!

I'm not going to tell you to use a method that doesn't exist...It's an extension method, part of the standard HBCore install.

Look in: HBDir\Quest Behaviors\QuestBehaviorCore\Extensions\Extensons_WoWPoint.cs

Works great; no need to write you're own, no point re-inventing the wheel!
 
problem occurs when the .csv file is opened
problem is detected on 8 of 20 characters (****ing BIG PROBLEM)
can you fix it ?

Looks like you aren't using Salesman Lite. In the future, please do not write about any other product in this thread (it's against rules - you can contact me through my own website).
But since you did post a problem, I don't want to neglect you an answer. It looks like you have configured Salesman to download from theunderminejournal too often, please change it so that it doesn't download more than 5 times per day, as that is the limit.
Then, to remove this error, go to HB/Settings/Salesman and remove the .csv file for your realm.
 
Every second day I receive an error....

Compiler Error: error CS0006: Metadata file 'BothavenManager.dll' could not be found

and the botbase just vanishes off my drop down box

it then mysteriously comes back at random times

I've re-downloaded it and re-installed and it still doesn't show the bot.

I can only assume that its having difficulty connecting to your authenication servers when this happens?

I am also having issue's of this not honoring the minimum price set...
I lost quite a few cut primals for less than cost due to it following other peoples undercutting. This seems to happen randomly.

And I still cant alt-tab into honor buddy to shut this down or adjust prices without having to go into my task manager, killing the process, logging into the buddy auth web site and killing that process before I can restart honor buddy to adjust the prices on the botbase.

ok, sorted out what was causing the compiler error.

Now I am not getting an error but simply the botbase has vanished altogether.

really this bot causes alot of trouble for anyone that has more than a few bits and bobs to sell imo.. last couple of days has cost me thousands of gold, probably more in the tens of thousands and I've conceded alot of territory on my markets to competition.

Have you tried deleting the hb cache folder yet?

Me too also looking to hear what exactly is DIFFERENT between this and pro....20eu is a lot for only a plugin and it must be one that can pay itself back!

I'm sure people are very secretive about how they make the most money with this plugin even if it's on the free version, and with no addon capabilities it's gonna be a tough nut to ***** all at once....but I want the best for this job. I don't
 
Hi Inrego . today is my first day using Salesman . i got a weird problem . the bot correctly post stuff and check mail , but the bot dont do the canceling " at all " . bot just keep posting more of the same item again without canceling the last ones .
i disabled my tsm . dont think i have any other Ah related addons .
the other thing is ,my server just got merged with 3 others , is it the problem ? cuz i cant see the name of the ppl from other realms in my Auction tab even they buy my stuff.

Hello.

You have to disable all addons, not just AH related. I have seen lots of weird addons mess with the lua functions that Salesman uses..

Your theory of the realm merging is interesting, but I doubt it is the case.

Thanks for quick response . Well i just tried that too . All add-ons off .
well le me add some other infos that might help . i set the stack size : Same , Minimum price behavior : Skip posting . the thing is there is no more option to config :S .

about my theory , i think its kinda true actually . cuz when my banker checks the Ah for second time , she only re posts items that are Undercut not all items . SO the bot correctly figure what items got undercut . the thing is she doesnt cancel them and just posts new auctions .
