How do you use this exactly? When i click a pet zone, it always keep loading the elwynn forest profile.
it doesnt auto change so my pet3 remains lvl one, so the profiles remains elwynn forest.

Right Side (General Tab):

I would for the most part leave it at default values (click "Restore Defaults" if in doubt).

Left Side (Relative Tab):

• Click "Relative Mode" once to set the mode
• Uncheck "Lock pet 1", "Lock pet 2" and "Lock pet 3" (if checked)
• Uncheck "Manual Movement" (if checked)
• Uncheck "Do Not Engage" (if checked)
• Set Min and Max Level in Team Selection options

This should be it. And also make sure that you have no other pet battle plugins active. They may interfere. There can also be ingame addons that lock your pet team. Look out for those.

Just so we do this right. Your settings are correct right? Cause that actually doesn't sound like a profile issue at all. It sounds more like perhaps you have not unchecked the box for the bot to use its own profiles. Check all your settings and try one more time please.

So what you do, unless you are trying specifically to catch pets that only appear in low level zones or have no higher level pets.

You just do Ringer x 1 inside a zone where the pets are 10-14. You can level 10 pets from 1-7 with Botbase in less than an hour. Then you are full ready to migrate to a Ringerx2 in a level 23-25, 25 zone.

Don't level relative unless you have a specific need, like checking pet logic or capturing wild pets.

Let me check. I hope I'll reproduce it since many people are complaining, but looking at the full log may make things faster.

Upd. Nope, not reproduced. Team starts with level 5. Azhara's profile is loaded Ok.

But. It will fight all level 1's on the way to Azhara.

Problem here is: Profile is a bit low compared to the configured level. Expected level is 7, but the profile is 3-6. (No matching level in Kalimdor... at least, not in prepared profiles).
And the bot will relax a rule a bit more, checking not for 3-6, but for (3-2) to (6+2), i.e: 1-8 pets.

Workarounds:
1. Relax, it will get to Azhara eventually.
2. Move to Azhara manually.
3. Configure a higher profile for 6-7 level, that is 09-10 Southern Barrens.

If your situation differs from this analysis - let me take a look at your log.

Hey. First of all, THANK YOU! This is one of the best things I've seen created. I'm greatly appreciative of all your work on this. I was wondering if you could help me understand something. Maybe I missed it on the first page, or if someone else asked this question.

I've been running certain teams to level, so I keep the pets locked, use custom to set swap percentages, and let it roll. I did notice though, that it didn't change zones. Now, I'm not sure, but I was under the impression that if Automatically Select Zones was checked, it would change zones when they hit a certain level, but I noticed that my toon and team remained in Azshara, and tried to fly back to Durotar when I changed zones myself. After changing the minimum level, and flying out to Hinterlands, I noticed it didn't try to go anywhere else.

My question is this: Is it possible to design it so, if using a locked team, it auto zone changes based on the pets level instead of min/max level settings? I'll go back and check the first post again to see if I missed this info anywhere. Thanks.

Edit: Oh, and I saw it was mentioned about a ground only profile. Is there an ETA on that, because hopping on my skyreaver to fly ten yards seems suspect, and when I do need to step away, it'd be great if it just used a ground mount. Again.. thank you.

I'd suggest using Favs Only instead of locking pets. Current profiles changes are designed around Min Level, unless that's broken I do not see the reason to change.
But I may add to the Wish List though.

I didn't convert one for Frostfire specifically I converted a few for other places. I actually preferred doing it somewhere with less people. Since with pet battling you will earn the same amount of character experience as appropriate to the pets you battle (with a win). I always loved VoTFW for doing Ringerx2 and its very depopulated atm. Let me see if I can help you out with a profile though once my garrisonbutler is done running.

edit: try this conversion of the horde profile. if it doesnt work please tell me what happens.

Works for me.
Need to:
1. rename the file to "23-25 Frostfire Ridge.xml"
2. Go to Pet Zones tab. Uncheck "Auto load".
3. Close Config window.
4. Load the renamed profile though HB Gui.

Renaming is not actually needed, but provides the additional way to specify the range of pets you want to engage.

Love the bot. Found a problem, Im alliance and using the Hinterlands profile to lvl pet I get to Hri'watha research station and attack guards never end spawn near a pet to battle and bot just stays there fighting respawn guards over and over. Also, question: Is bot going to be able to que for and do pvp pet battles auto for us?

As far as understand the fix should be the following: a) remove Hotspots near this area, b) create a Blackspot, covering the area.

Another (more general) solution may to run away from the battles.
Workaround: use a higher level toon. Or do they spawn too fast?

Yes, it is in the "Roadmap" post and also there is a profile for Shadowmoon Valley already included.

Blacklisting is in the works afaik. What you could always do however, is to cage the damn plushie as long as you run the bot.

Cant cage the Plushie well wouldn't let me was my 2nd thought after thinking to release it lol! Still after setting use only Fav Ringers no problem at all just seemed to use that damn little cute plushie, plushie should be a raid boss imo just an annoying one takes like ages to kill and can kill u with huggs

Such a great botbase that I donated.
I already leveld a mage from 93 to 100 with this botbase because for questing the mage was shit ^^
For the garnison quest everbody should level a frog and a zandalari kneebiter.
these 2 pets are enough for the 3 enemys.

The patch notes are not entirely complete. All Critter, Dragonkin, Elemental, Flying, Humanoid, Magic and Undead tactics have also been a part of that version.

Only mechanicals are missing now, which I have already completed this morning and added them to the next release. 696 viable pet tactics in 3-4 days. I like it.

Reminder: Should you have any issues with any of the tactics then please just post them in the tactics thread and I will try to help you.
