[Bot] PoolFishingBuddy - BetaTest

Are you totally dump or what?
It has been posted now 6 or 7 times, that there is no fucking working PoolFishingBuddy version at the moment for the latest HB!!!

If you want to use this bot, get the OLD HB VERSION (5184) and the PoolFishingBuddy Bot from the repository.
To install everything just follow the instructions on page 1.

If it's still to complicate for you, stop playing WoW...

Moreover not that you are just crying since 4 pages that your bot is not loading... You are not even giving ANY INFORMATION what error appears in HB. Do you want us to use our magical glass sphere or what?

As I still don't think that you did understand that, here instructions...
1. Get HB 5184 - http://www.thebuddyforum.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=140
2. Get PoolFishingBuddy - http://poolfishingbuddy.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/PoolFishingBuddy-1.2.8 (HB 2.0.0.5184).zip
3. Extract HB to any place you want
4. Extract PoolFishingBuddy to the Bots Folder of you HB
5. Start HB
6. Select PoolFisher in the DropDown Menu

If it's STILL not working post the error message which appears in the log, when you are starting HB... (Tip: Search for the PoolFishingBuddy path or just post the complete log)

Hey, I downloaded the botbase, installed it into the correct folder, reopened Honorbuddy, but when i went to find the program in the combobox it wasnt there? i have downloaded the newest version of each thing.:confused::confused:

Try uninstalling WoW, maybe this helps.
 
Hm, maybe he has a live apart from HB and PoolFishingBuddy. Not really sure. Could someone please confirm?

I'm 99% sure that the next time he will say something, he will release a new version for the recent HB...
I also dont know what you need his statement for. There is a reason why he adds the HB version behind every download. But for some people like you that's still to difficult to understand.

Ok, I've had HB for about 48 hours now and after first testing the AB, I wanted to check out PFB. It took me a bit to get it going so I wanted to post some of what I figured out to help others that might come across the same situations:

1) I knew from what I had read that PFB won't run with the current version of HB, so I followed CM2003's post above to install HB 5184 as well as the latest version of PFB.
2) Fired up WoW but when I started it, I kept getting the error "Waiting for Mainhand" repeat in the window and the bot never moved my toon. I did a little research and figured out that I needed to click the Settings and Tools button and then the Bots Config button and select what I'm using. (If it's not an option for the main hand and fishing pole, note the Refresh button to the right).
3) Ok, got that solved and when I fired everything back up and started the bot, my toon flew off to the first fishing node right away! Cool, I was in business!!

4) Well, that lasted about 10 minutes and then after fishing about 10 pools, my toon suddenly started out to sea and then just flew back and forth repeatedly. Figuring that I'd found a bug, I found the log and was going to post it but first I took a look at the timeframe to see what was logically going on. I saw that the following repeated: "Next point is out of continent bounds. We are at left side of the continent. Moving to right"

Evidently I had missed that the Turtle mount that I loaded the profile for was for Sholazar Basin and here I was in Hyjal. oops!

5) Ok, relocated my toon to Sholazar Basin and then started the bot again - and so far I've gone from about 15 in fishing skill up to about 185.

I'm taking a break from the fishing for now but like what I've seen. I'm still testing out the different functions of the bot but so far I'm overall impressed. Yes, it isn't perfect, but for the money I paid, I'm happy with it.

PS. +Rep to cm2003 for his guide on getting everything working together. I'll be adding more rep to the maker of PFB (Iggi) as well as those that created the profiles as I go on.

You need a profile with hotspots in Uldum in order to stay and fish there..

not quiet sure how to do this " profile with hotspots in Uldum " what shall i do then ????
 
Hi and I would just like to say that I am very much impressed this plugin :D
Though i was wondering if I would be lucky to ask some of the more experienced users of this plugin as there's one recurring problem I keep running into fairly often, I afk bot so I've never seen what causes it but I often find the bot swimming at the surface doing nothing even though it is able to mount flying mount it seems intent on moving to a better position without mounting and obviously when it can't find a path it sits around doing nothing.
Is there a cure/workaround or a setting on the bot settings that will minimize this?

some of the problems:
-- crash on stop :*( but that's ok, i'm used to HB crashing..and it's not like i swap bots bases that often.
-- landing in water, just stands there...known issue from what i read, not a big deal as i don't afk.
-- landing in lava in twilight highlands...again, since I don't afk..not a huge deal
-- maybe this is just me...but if I get into combat while fishing, it swaps my weapons, which is awesome..but then it just stands there and does nothing. I thought maybe it was CC related at first, but I've tried multiple CCs, multiple specs...plus the CC works in the other bot bases.

I can grab the logs later if needed for anything.

Well the version for 5184 doesn't work either. It flies around and fishes alright but when it gets in combat it just stands there.
 
Mine fights, but it does have a few other problems right now...

I know that the first post says the botbase has to be rebuilt with every honorbuddy release. Does anyone know if the developer is waiting for the next release of honorbuddy or if he's still working on the rebuild?
