pool fishing doesn't require fishing skill
 
No but isnt it, The higher skill you have the bigger chance you got to not fish up some junk? Or have they changed it? Havent been fishing in wow for prolly a year or something, if not even longer.
 
I'm pretty sure that applies to open water fishing, not in pools.

Pool fishing = 100% good things

This didn't happen for me yet. I'll need to check if the LUA I'm using can cause exceptions. Are you using profession related bags?

This was changed some patches ago. You can't fish junk from pools so it would be a waste of lures..
 
Ive been tinkering with settings for the Uldum coast deal, how do I reset or delete the nodes it Blacklisted so it can try them again?

If the log says it is blacklisted for 2 minutes you can wait for this time or restart HB to wipe the temp blacklist..

The next update will be delayed for a little though because I'm adding some new features atm which need some more time of testing.
 
Would it be possible to let the professions go on as well besides the fishing.
I notice (as herbalist) alot of herbs it flies past to get to the next fishing pool (when running a profile around a area).
Would be nice if it would mine/herb while it's going from spot to spot, at least imho.
It's not a major thing, just if and when it's possible.
Same goes for looting corpses (the loot itself and skinning/herbing/engineering what comes after the looting).

After all I'm using this bot for the fishing, not gathering :)

As edit: If you have trouble with the bot moving from pool to pool, casting x times, relocate, casting again etc, delete your settings file as iggy wrote few pages ago.

On a sidenote with a alchemist who has a soulbound alchemist-only flask in his bags, HB will prefer to take this flask over the potion of waterwalking. So unless there's a way to disable this flask automatically, there's not much that can be done about it (which will cause pfb to spam the waterwalk potion, not consuming it, but causing the "red" message that a more powerful spell is already active).

Alchemist detected, and have Flask of Enhancement. Getting a free hourly buff!

Edit1: Another thing I noticed that as druid, using the Swift Flight Form as mount, the jumping out of the water and SS doesn't really seem to work due to the flask/waterwalking issue.
It tries to apply the waterwalking, fails, therefor falling back into the water, and goes into a loop here. I guess eventually the flask runs out, so it's a question who's first to apply the new flask/potion? HB or the Botbase?

1| I already added looting in my current nonpublic build and I'll add skinning/mining/herbing/engineering step by step when I get the time. Currently I'm working on daily quests expansion and moving under water is consuming my time since there's no class yet.. So I need to get my "divor" up and running :D

2| What flask are you talking about? need to check and implement it!

3| I'm still looking for a proper way to get the toons out of the water. There are different solutions like moving to ground first, jumping around and trying to mount etc..

Hey iggi, I am a enhance shaman so i dual wield. The settings box for Mainhand only shows the 2h caster weapon that i use for off spec. It does not give me the option to choose the 1h Axe i use for Mainhand. It Does see my pole, and my offhand though.. Is there something i can do to get it to see the Mainhand weapon and allow me to select it?

I'm going to check the weapons / shield detection today and will release a quickfix within the next hours.
 
Any way to make it so you don't fly around in a circle looking like a bot if you're only fishing at Cannons Inferno for Volatile Fire? Would be amazing.

Version 1.2.0 is out: Download

- the botbase is now compiled into .dll files with permissions of Hawker
- Localized Interface (english/german for now) FIRST!
- Logo/Icon aren't loaded from web any more
- blacklisting for Old Azeroth is working now
- fixed MoveToPool Timer (did not reset in combat)
- fixed weapon selection in Interface (shields, one handed weapons should show up now as intended)
- descending is smoother now
- there's a global bad locations file now inside the settings folder which will store bad locations (swimming, not in line of sight etc)

!important!

To use this new build, delete the whole existing folder "poolfishingbuddy" at /HB/Bots/ and then extract the new .zip there! For people who are using svn, subversion should do the job. If not, delete the old folder and create an new one called "PoolFishingBuddy" and connect it to "http://poolfishingbuddy.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/PoolFishingBuddy/".

Maybe adding just one hotspot to the profile will do the job, but I didn't test it. Since there's a respawn time for the firepools you might think about adding some more hotspots and fishing from other pools while waiting. Or you could add more Hotspots and ignore the other pools so it just looks like you are patroling for pools..

What's wrong with waterwalking for shamis? I don't have one so only DK and Priest is tested, but shami is also implemented. Isn't it?
 
@ Iggy,

1) Waiting for the additions then to the botbase

2) The current Alchemist Only flask I'm talking about is the Flask of Enhancement which is the cataclysm flask (HB will use this flask automatically when it detects 1) You are a Alchemist and 2) You have the flask in your bags).
I suppose the same goes for the Flask of the North which is the wrath version of the Alchemist Only flask.

3) HB should be able to handle this, since you should be able to mount flying mounts in the water too as long as you are all the way on the surface (so no need to jump anymore, or waterwalking or whatever was needed pre cataclysm).
This already since Cataclysm Pre Installation Patch.
