What other plugins do you have on ? What version of HB ?

Makelio nice gesture but I would suggest you remove that link at your earliest convince.

here is the deal: SVN will work and keep you current if you set up an SVN client and put in the correct URL. If you use this : poolfishingbuddy - Revision 65: /trunk
it will load all the current releases (zipped) and the archive of previous releases.
Just look inside for the version you need and unzip it to your ?Bots? folder and start HB.
Note that the latest version comes in 2 flavors (PoolFishingBuddy-1.2.1) and (PoolFishingBuddy-1.2.1-with-AB-FIX) the difference is weather you patched your HB with this:" [Release] ArchaeologyBuddy and Gatherbuddy2 Bug Fixes"

You can also set up an SVN folder called ?PoolFishingBuddy? in the "Bots folder" and use this URL: poolfishingbuddy - Revision 65: /trunk/PoolFishingBuddy and that will keep you updated to the latest release.

Lastly the latest version WILL NOT WORK with the "Test" releases of HB ( I wont explain why cus it don?t mater OK) but if you want to use the ?Test? release of HB you can still use poolfishingbudy v 1.1.5 found here: poolfishingbuddy - Revision 65: /trunk/Archieve

OK reverted to HB .4620...no update, extracted poolfishingbuddy 1.2.1 to the bots.....it's working fine, but it or HB keeps turning auto looting off.............any ideas?

it does it by design. ( so it can track your catch)
 
1.1.5 working fine with latest HB. Only thing is when fishing and you are using elixir of walking on water and you are sat on a spot between going under water or walking on it, it will use the elixir until it is all gone from your bag, maybe needs to check if you use the elixir more than twice in 20 secs to blacklist that spot and fly off, went thru 40 elixir yesterday.

All you have to do is edit the bot settings, and set the minimum fishing distance to 20 or higher. That way it won't stand close to the fire when fishing.
 
Hi just want to say loving Pool Fishing Buddy 1.1.5 itw working very well.

Already got Mr Pinchy after 48 casts (I know very lucky, then got pet on first wish too).

Now im going for the Turtle.

Only problem im having is that its not casting Water Walking although its active and im a Shamen with a Waterwalking Glyph. I have it selected in the options with the radio on Racial.

Can anyone help me here?

I see in the log it tries to cast it, but it doesnt actually do it.

1.1.5 is working fine with .4928 [Test] version.

Does not work with the latest version of honorbuddy (the new gui one). doesnt compile
 
where is the best place for just leveling pool fish.
The 10K catch guild achievement. Don't care what I catch just need lots of pools and a quick area to move in.
 
Not sure if lower level areas can be faster. But using either the Uldum Big Route or Twilight Highlands Lake + lava profiles from this thread is the way I solo'd it for my personal guild. Can make some decent gold off it, too. Still haven't gotten all the volatiles sold yet on my tiny server. You'll end up with thousands upon thousands.

found the blackbelly mudfish pools of uldum to be the fastest area i tried.
each time you fish one pool it will make another in the zone respawn and there's constantly people looking for the eels on the coast meaning the blackbelly pools are respawning super fast. the big winner is the zero competition for these fish. several hundred per hour, at least. unfortunately the bot doesnt work for some of the pools.
i found twilight's lake to be slow because of the competition for pools, but the ocean pools for the algaefin rockfish there are quick for exactly the same reason as the blackbelly mudfish.
both fish seem useless and get more for vendor than cooking&selling or just selling

i havent tested any low areas either.

thanks to everyone for the info.

at first I was thinking ok in X zone level 20 mobs and 2000 pools and I will clean up.
problem is I never found that super zone.

I will head for TW or uldam and give it a go
