Hi Guys, just wondering one thing.
I am one of the few (?) that have a RL busy job and decided to bot for the fun of powering up my char and play with profiles, codes, plugins etc... I know it sounds stupid but I really dont have time to take care of lots of bots for making a few extra bucks a month.
I believe some other people do this as well...or not? I personally play on US servers from EU, 24/7 since 3 months.

So, among all people who bot and DO not sell gold in RMAH or to external sites, is there anyone who got banned?

Thanks for your experience.

nobody bots here for the money, we all bot for charity , u didnt know that ?

Im having a lot of fun with spending money i get from botting therefore im botting for fun.

Botting for me is like every morning Santa comes and gives me presents for my char!
So i am botting just for fun

I alway's hope to get a good item dropped, then sell for much gold...To improve my chars.

Blizzard says that you CAN bot as long as you only use it for your character and not selling the gold.

/sarcasm

Not a single serious answer, so basically no Demonbuddy user bots for improving his chars and play the game? bah, u must be very desperate

lol, "desperate".
ppl making thousand bucks a month, almost effortless and you say desperate.

I am actually botting for fun, to get some gold by selling items and improving my characters. I have done this on wow and any other game i botted. Have other ways to earn nice and quick amounts of cash.

it's people who actually waste time in their life playing a video game that are the desperate.

I love playing videogames what are u talking about? Like everyone here except you that make the big bucks on Diablo 3, gratz!

would be interesting to see the faces of 1000 botters here when it comes to the point that NO single player is playing D3 for fun anymore... which means no one is buying anymore and there are only botters left.... ;)

My opinion: i bot for fun AND for profit.
I geared some toons with equip which is not good for botting and was way to expensive, but i like it :)

Gaming is still my hobby and botting won't stop it, even it makes the gaming experience too fast and too stupid.

I tried my hand at botting, made it to level 60... geared my character with like 400 million gold of stuff I bought... and got banned a day later. Good luck with the blizzard does not mind you botting for yourself! Oh, and I am disabled by the way, that is no excuse to blizzard for botting either... next question... Seems like this should have been a poll. I started 3 bots now, and next time it will be 6, damn you blizzard!

I bot only for myself. I have never sold any gold or on the RMAH from my bot accounts and I have been banned twice.

Finally the answer I was looking for. So blizzard does not make any difference between botters. That was my original point...

Ofcourse not. Why would they? They PROFIT from botting... they ban because its against the TOS.
