Same error I've been having for weeks is still in this version.

- Start SWTOR
- Load up character
- Wait until load is complete
- Start BW
- Error: see log

Above error was on my Sage. When I log on to my Trooper I get the WingIt issue that others are reporting: BW doesn't recognise my spec (Gunnery) and thus can't find a combat routine.
Log attached.

It's unable to read stuff from SW:TOR. Are you assigning proper privileges to both the bot and SWTOR?

SWTOR won't start without the right priviledges.
BW is ran in Administrator mode.

Just to make sure this is still on the board:
This issue is still there. After I reboot my system I can load SWTOR/BW again but when I shut down BW I can't restart it until I reboot again.
It's the same issue that I've been having, basically, since BW's first release.

What I've also noticed is that the Updater won't work from that moment on either. It says it can't delete BuddyWing.exe.
Looks like BW is somehow keeping a lock on a process/file somewhere? I dunno, my technical skills are limited to "Bluff your way into computer programming".

Still having the same problem on three different computers, one of which is tested on 4 different networks. See attachment.
I'll just stop using this bot for a while, getting frustrated to the point of throwing in the towel completely. I'll check back in a couple of weeks whether it's a bit more stable or not.

I, too, frequently get those GreyMagic errors. It got really frustrating for me the other day trying to fix some problems elsewhere. Here's what I do to clear it up, and it seems to work even if its inconvenient:
  • Shut down SWtOR & Buddywing
  • Delete the BuddyWing/CompiledAssemblies directory
  • Relaunch SWtOR & Buddywing
  • Sometimes, this is insuffiicent, so reboot, then do it again. Never had it fail after doing this.

cheers & good luck to you,
chinajade

I clear my Compiled Assemblies before every run. still doesnt help the crashes.

China,

That's my SOP now as well but it doesn't help anymore.
From the 3 systems I'm using there are 2 that always boot clean before I start BW and they experience the same problem.
The third system is my main system which I can't just reboot since it's also running 4*HB.

All in all the frustration is clear :) And I don't really have time for frustration at the moment. So I'd rather spend my time on HB at the moment; Kick's Dailies profiles need some luvin' ;)

A month and a half down the road and the problem is still the same.....
I thought I'd give this thing another shot but apparently BW is indeed completely and utterly dead. The same issue has been plagueing this bot since it was first released and the same issue is still here.
